    摘要: A cathode substrate (10) and gate substrate (30) are arranged such that at least gate ribs (12) abut against cathode ribs (34) and gate electrodes (35) and, depending on the case, the cathode ribs (34) abut against cathodes (13). The gate ribs (12) and cathode ribs (34) can be formed to heights of about 5 μm to 300 μm. The gate ribs (12) can be surface-polished so their heights are uniform. The distance between the cathode electrodes (13) and gate electrodes (35) can accordingly be made uniform and short, so driving at a low voltage and an increase in luminance uniformity can be realized.

    摘要: The present invention provides a conductor paste for rapid firing that is applied to a ceramic green sheet and is fired along with the green sheet under high-rate temperature rise conditions at a high heating rate of at least 600° C./hr from room temperature to the maximum firing temperature. The paste includes as a conductor-forming powder material: a conductive metallic powder comprising, as a main component, nickel powder; and barium titanate ceramic powder with a mean particle diameter of 10 nm to 80 nm as an additive. The ceramic powder content is 5 to 25 mass parts per 100 mass parts of the conductive metallic powder.

    摘要: A power supply circuit for a vacuum fluorescent display includes a boosting coil, input terminal, switching transistor, PWM control circuit, boosting circuit, first filament terminal, and second filament terminal. The boosting coil is provided in a current path to generate an induced voltage in accordance with a change in current flowing therein. The input terminal receives a DC voltage to be applied to one terminal of the boosting coil. The switching transistor is provided between the other terminal of the boosting coil and a ground line. The PWM control circuit periodically turns on/off the switching transistor. The boosting circuit generates a boosted voltage on the basis of an induced voltage generated at the other terminal of the boosting coil when the switching transistor is switched from ON to OFF. The first terminal is connected to the node between the other terminal of the boosting coil and the switching transistor. A DC voltage lower than the induced voltage generated at the other terminal of the boosting coil is applied to the second terminal.

    摘要: A vacuum fluorescent display includes a front glass member, substrate, phosphor film, an electron-emitting portion, electron extracting electrode, and insulating support member. The front glass member has light transmission properties at least partly. The substrate opposes the front glass member through a vacuum space. The phosphor film is formed on that surface of the front glass member which opposes the substrate and has a predetermined display pattern. The electron-emitting portion is mounted on the substrate to oppose the phosphor film, and has an electron-emitting surface corresponding to the display pattern. The electron extracting electrode is arranged in the vacuum space between the electron-emitting portion and the phosphor film to be spaced apart from the electron-emitting portion by a predetermined distance. The insulating support member is formed on the substrate and adapted to support the electron extracting electrode and divide the electron-emitting surface of the electron-emitting portion into a plurality of regions.
