    摘要: The invention provides a yeast strain and a method for making the same. The method has the step of replacing the regulation region upstream of the hsp104 gene in the genome of the yeast, so as to accelerate and prolong the expression span of hsp104 gene and enhance the capability of the yeast to ferment and produce ethanol in a high-temperature environment. The yeast is capable of fermenting glucose at a temperature higher than 42° C. to produce ethanol, or biomass ethanol, wherein the ethanol production ratio based on fermentation of glucose is higher than 97%. Being able to synchronize the degradation/hydrolysis stage and fermentation stage of biomass ethanol producing process, the yeast in accordance with the present invention is able to lower the production cost of biomass ethanol and further raise the productivity with its high ethanol production ratio.

    摘要: Inferences acquired by applying clustering analysis cannot be reliably assessed before data-originated errors are quantified, an exacting task that is often not performed. This invention presents a clustering method suited for this purpose. Designed for systems with normally distributed error, a common trait to many data systems, and built on a framework of agglomerative hierarchical clustering, this invention treats each observation as a Gaussian distribution function, uses an exact mathematical relation to track error, and gives results from which quantitative statistics are easily extracted.

    摘要: A two dimensional/three dimensional (2D/3D) digital acquisition and display device for enabling users to capture 3D information using a single device. In an embodiment, the device has a single movable lens with a sensor. In another embodiment, the device has a single lens with a beam splitter and multiple sensors. In another embodiment, the device has multiple lenses and multiple sensors. In yet another embodiment, the device is a standard digital camera with additional 3D software. In some embodiments, 3D information is generated from 2D information using a depth map generated from the 2D information. In some embodiments, 3D information is acquired directly using the hardware configuration of the camera. The 3D information is then able to be displayed on the device, sent to another device to be displayed or printed.

The DC-DC converter converts a DC voltage to the driving voltage for driving the light-emitting diode. One end of the switch circuit is electrically connected to the DC-DC converters and a cathode of the light-emitting diode, the other end of the circuit switching is electrically connected to a ground terminal. The switch circuit controls the connection between the DC-DC converters, the Light-emitting diodes and the ground terminal based on the control signal.

A plurality of accepting holes are opened in the second housing. Each of the second terminals includes a welding portion and a base portion. The second terminal is arranged in the second housing. The welding portion projects out from the bottom of the second housing. The second housing is fixed on the bottom of the first housing. While the card connector is welded on a PCB, and the welding portion of the second terminal connects to the PCB, a space is formed between the card connector and the PCB.
