An automatic balancing device for a rotatable system includes a track (18) arranged about a rotational-axis (H) of the rotatable system and having two roll-off surfaces (22a, 22b) inclined toward each other in a direction of a centrifugal force acting (F) acting on at least one balancing body (20) which is received in a free cross-section formed by the two roll-off surfaces (22a, 22b) and limited by an elastic locking element (24) arranged there between for displacing the at least one balancing body (20) away from the roll-off surfaces (22a, 22b) in a direction opposite the direction of the centrifugal force (F) and for pressing the at least one balancing body (20) against an inner boundary of the track (18) for locking the balancing body (20) when a rotational speed of the system is below a predetermined threshold.

The invention relates to a method for producing plastic hollow bodies which are filled, at least partially, with foam particles. The plastic hollow body is produced by rotational moulding and is filled, at least partially, in the rotational mould with foam particles. Foam particles which are made of the same type of a polyolefinic plastic material, from which the wall of the hollow body is also made, are used in order to simplify the recycling.

The invention is directed to a method and an arrangement for controlling a positioning device. The positioning device is positioned on the basis of a drive time without position feedback. A base displacement time is provided which is corrected by comparing a desired value to an actual value at pregiven time points.

A description is given of a method for filling the fuel supply system in an internal combustion engine, in which the fuel pump is activated by the control unit. If the control unit recognizes, as a function of measured variables, that filling with fuel should take place, it activates the fuel pump in a manner such that a sufficient filling of fuel is already obtained before the internal combustion engine starts. If, on the other hand, the control unit recognizes a normal start, the customary method for controlling the electric fuel pump is executed. The time control of the electric fuel pump is changed over to normal activation also as a function of recognized termination conditions.

There is now provided a method for producing a product comprising plastic foam in an automatic molding machine. The method comprises providing a woven fabric on at least one surface of the mold cavity, with the woven fabric comprising a fabric having a fine-mesh woven fabric ply that faces the interior of the mold cavity upon assembly and a coarse-mesh woven fabric ply that is disposed adjacent at least one surface of the mold cavity and beneath the fine-mesh woven ply upon assembly to support the fine-mesh woven ply. The method further provides for introducing beads comprising plastic foam into the mold cavity; contacting the beads with a gaseous heat transfer medium, such as superheated steam; introducing the gaseous heat transfer medium into the mold cavity; flowing the gaseous heat transfer medium along a first surface of the mold cavity; and removing gaseous heat transfer medium along a second surface of the mold cavity; and removing the finished product from the mold.

A method and an arrangement for the control of an adjusting device for an internal combustion engine is proposed in which the operative connection between an adjusting device and an output element is detected based on a predetermined and adaptable association of at least two pieces of position data. In this method and arrangement, the operative connection and/or faults with respect to the at least two pieces of position data can be detected.

A device for controlling an operating characteristic of an internal combustion engine is suggested with a speed limitation being effective according to a predetermined time function by influencing the fuel metering during the transition from the idling state to the driving mode. This speed limitation is activated especially in the event of a fault of the actuating device, of its activation and of the feedback and in the event of a speed response critical to safety in the idling state.
