    摘要: A coupling assembly for optionally connecting a driving axle in a motor vehicle having multiple driving axles is disclosed. The coupling assembly comprises an externally controllable friction coupling with a coupling input part and an output part. The input part is rotatingly drivable around an axis of rotation A. A differential drive with an input element and two output elements which are drivingly connected to the input element, are also included. The input element of the differential drive is arranged coaxially relative to the coupling output part and drivably connected to the coupling output part for the purpose of transmitting torque. A driveline assembly having such a coupling assembly is also disclosed.

The system includes nosings (32, 34) overlying an expansible member (40) of unitary construction and made from resilient material. The expansible member has ribbed flaps (42, 44) with holes (48) therethrough. The flaps are attached to the slabs by a layer (46) of adhesive bedding material. The expansible member includes a first segment (69), a second segment (82) and a third segment (96). The segments each include pad portions (70, 84, 98), and web portions (78, 92, 102) extending downward from the pad portions into the slot. The adjacent web portions are joined at locations (106, 112) vertically below the pad portions of the segments.

    摘要: An expansion joint sytem (10) spans a slot (12) of adjacent concrete slabs (14, 16). The system includes a boxed out area (22) adjacent the slot. A plate member (32) extends across the slot. A preformed resilient pad (42) is positioned above the plate member. Nosings (64) of resilient material are bonded to the pad and to the surfaces bounding the boxed out area. The pad has a cross sectional configuration that achieves enhanced bonding to the nosings, greater flexibility and resistance to failure in cold weather, and greater elongation without failure.
