Abstract:
The invention relates to a novel catalyst based on zeolite, the production of that catalyst, and the use of the catalyst in a method for producing lower olefins from oxygenates and for oligomerizing olefins. The novel catalyst has a SiO2/Al2O3 weight ratio of 2 to 9, a BET surface of 250 to 500 m2/g, and an Na content under 200 ppm. The catalyst includes a crystalline alumosilicate zeolite and a binder. The catalyst is characterized in that the ratio of the peak heights of its IR absorption bands v=3610 cm−1±20 cm−1/v=3680 cm−1±20 cm−1 is greater than 1.8.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a catalyst composition for the reaction of hydrocarbons comprising a zeolite with has a faujasite structure and a fibrous zeolite which comprises essentially non-crossing one-dimensional channels. Further, the catalyst composition comprises in a preferred embodiment a metal component selected from metals of the group VIB and VIII of the periodic table of elements and their compounds. The invention relates further to a process for the synthesis of such a catalyst composition and to a process for hydrocracking hydrocarbon feedstocks by using said catalyst composition.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of a compound of the formula 1 in which X− is a singly negatively charged anion, R is H, methyl or OH, R1 and R2 are identical or different, phenyl or thienyl, for producing a medicament for killing microorganisms and/or for producing a medicament for the treatment of respiratory tract infections caused by microorganisms.
Abstract:
The invention relates to specific aqueous aerosol formulations that are devoid of propellant, containing one or more anticholinergic agents of formula (1), in which X represents an anion, and containing at least one pharmacologically compatible organic acid and optionally additional pharmacologically compatible adjuvants and/or complexing agents. The cation of formula (1′) is contained in the preparation at a concentration of between 411 and 460.32 mg per 100 ml of medicament preparation.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a multi-layer catalyst made from niobium for the catalytic conversion of hydrocarbons, comprising a) a support component made from a doped or undoped oxide or hydroxide of an element of the V sub-group of the periodic table, or mixtures thereof, b) a layer of a promoter compound, selected from oxygen, sulphur or phosphorus compounds of an element of the VI, VII and VIII sub-group or a phosphoxy compound and mixtures thereof and c) a layer comprising a compound of platinum metal. The invention further relates to a method for production of the catalyst and the use thereof.
Abstract:
An aerosol solution formulation comprising: (a) a salt of formula 1 wherein X− is an anion (b) an HFC propellant; (c) a cosolvent; and (d) an inorganic or an organic acid, wherein the concentration of the acid is in a range that corresponds with a pH range of 2.5 to 5.5 in aqueous solution.
Abstract:
This invention relates to stabilized aerosol solution formulations containing acid addition salts of salbutamol, which are suitable for administration by metered dose inhalers (MDIs). More particularly, this invention relates to solution formulations containing one of the aforementioned salts of salbutamol, preferably salbutamol hydrochloride or salbutamol citrate, more preferably one of the two before mentioned salts in combination with one or more additional pharmacologically active substances, together with an environmentally safe hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) as a propellant, a co-solvent, preferably an organic compound as a co-solvent, and either an inorganic acid or an organic acid.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a fragrance composition which has, as fixative, at least one ionic liquid, and to the preparation and use thereof. The fragrance compositions according to the invention are advantageous since the ionic liquid, being a polar solvent which has as it were no vapor pressure, can delay the evaporation of the base scent components in a targeted manner. The large choice of ionic liquids allows the rate of evaporation of the scent components to be adjusted precisely. Since the polarity of the ionic liquids can be varied by means of the structure of the cations and/or anions within wide ranges, the ionic liquids used as fixative can be matched precisely to the chemicophysical and/or olfactory requirements of the scent component.
Abstract:
A pharmaceutical composition comprising: (a) an active substance consisting of a compound of formula 1 wherein X− is an anion; (b) ethanol or a mixture of ethanol and water; (c) a pharmacologically acceptable acid.
Abstract:
The novel emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation comprising at least one pesticidal crop protection active compound, at least one non-polar organic solvent, optionally, at least one polar aprotic cosolvent, an emulsifying surfactant system enabling an oil-in-water emulsion to be formed when the formulation is added to water, and at least one defoaming or foam breaking agent selected from the group consisting of perfluoroalkylphosphonic acids, perfluoroalkylphosphinic acids and perfluoroaliphatic polymeric esters is useful for combating pests or diseases caused by pests at a locus by treating the locus with a composition obtained from emulsifying the EC in water.
