摘要: A lower rail of channel structure is secured a floor. The lower rail has a longitudinally extending slot in an upper portion thereof. An upper rail is slidably engaged with the lower rail and mounts thereon a seat. The upper rail includes a base portion which is slidably received in the lower rail and a supporting wall portion which extends upward from the base portion and passes through the slot of the lower rail for connection with the seat. A protecting cover covers one end portion of the lower rail and has a longitudinally extending slit into which the supporting wall portion of the upper rail is inserted when the upper rail assumes an extreme position relative to the lower rail. A concealing structure is integral with the projecting cover and constructed to conceal the slit. The concealing structure and the supporting wall portion are so constructed as to permit the insertion of the supporting wall portion into the slit irrespective of provision of the concealing structure.

摘要: To increase strength or rigidity of a door lock device for an automotive vehicle, the box-shaped base housing and the cover plate are formed in enclosed cross section by connecting two flange portions thereof. Further, the base housing and the cover plate are connected via two axles for supporting the latch and the lock plate. On the other hand, to facilitate assembling work of the door lock device, an actuator machanism including a latch release lever, a lock/unlock plate, and an engage lever is directly attached to the cover plate without increasing the mounting space.

摘要: Only a left lock mechanism is coupled directly to an operation bar of comparatively high rigidity and a right lock mechanism is coupled to the left lock mechanism via a wire as a coupling member. The operation bar is rotatably supported at left and right end parts in left and right upper rails. The right end part is rotatably supported in a support pin of a bracket attached to the right upper rail slidably from side to side. A guide hole fitted slidably to an end part of an operation bar is made in a link for coupling the left lock mechanism and the end of the operation bar. A ring bushing made of a resin as a buffer member is fitted into the guide hole and is formed with an opposed face part opposed to the end part of the operation bar and an elastic piece pressed against the upper face of the operation bar.

摘要: A seat sliding device including a stationary rail secured at both ends thereof to a vehicle floor through brackets, a movable rail slidably engaged with the stationary rail and mounting thereon a seat, and a protective cover for covering the bracket and said stationary rail. The protective cover comprises a bracket cover portion covering the bracket, a rail cover portion connected to the bracket cover portion and covering an end portion of the stationary rail, and means for defining a guide groove which provides a space through which the movable rail passes. The protective cover contributes to an improvement in interior appearance and safety of a passenger compartment of vehicles.

摘要: A seat slide device for a motor vehicle is shown, which includes a seat slide latching mechanism by which an upper movable rail can be latched at a desired fore-and-aft position relative to a lower stationary rail and a rail-disconnection inhibiting mechanism by which undesired separation of the upper rail from the lower rail is prevented even when a great load is applied to the rails due to a vehicle collision of the like. Lock openings formed in the lower rail can be used for not only the seat slide latching mechanism but also the rail-disconnection inhibiting mechanism. Thus, the lower rail has a satisfied mechanical strength.

摘要: A walk-in device for use in a seat slide device is disclosed. The seat slide device includes a stationary rail, a movable rail slidably engaged with the stationary rail, and a locking mechanism for locking and unlocking the movable rail relative to the stationary rail when a first member is turned in first and second directions respectively. The walk-in device comprises a base member secured to the movable rail; a first lever pivotally connected to the base member, the first lever being turned between a first position wherein the first member is kept unchanged and a second position wherein a part of the first lever abuts against the first member to turn the same in the second direction; a second lever pivotally connected to the base member, the second lever having a projection which is slidably engageable with a side wall of the stationary rail under a certain condition; a link structure for providing a linkage connection between the first and second levers; and a spring for biasing the second lever in a direction to press the projection toward the stationary rail, wherein the link structure is so constructed that when the first lever assumes the first position, the second lever is prevented from turning, and when the first lever assumes the second position and the projection of the second lever is disengaged from an end of the stationary rail, the second lever is turned due to the force of the spring in a direction to suppress the turning of the first lever toward the first position.

摘要: A coupling device for connecting a wire and a knob of elastic material is disclosed. The wire has one end formed into a hook and a portion curved into a generally U shape and connecting to the hook. The knob has a bore receiving the wire and a wall portion surrounding the bore. The wall portion is formed with a slot engaged by the hook, and a bulge protruding into the bore and engaged with the U-shaped portion of the wire. The bulge is so constructed and arranged as to prohibit removal of the U-shaped portion of the wire from the bore after the bulge has allowed insertion of the U-shaped portion into the bore.

摘要: A seat assembly for a motor vehicle is shown. The assembly comprises a lower rail secured to a floor of the vehicle; an upper rail slidably engaged with the lower rail; a base structure secured to the upper rail to move therewith; a seat cushion held by the base structure in a manner to pivot between a horizontal operative position and an upright inoperative position; a seat slide latching mechanism for latching the upper rail to the lower rail; a seat cushion latching mechanism for latching the seat cushion at both the horizontal operative and upright inoperative postions relative to the base structure; a latch cancelling mechanism incorporated with the seat cushion latching mechanism for cancelling the latched condition of the seat cushion when actuated; and a restraining mechanism incorporated with the latch cancelling mechanism. The restraining mechanism latches the upper rail to the lower rail when the latch cancelling mechanism is being actuated.
