    Abstract: A system and method for wafer level adjusting of IC chips are disclosed. The system and method for a wafer level adjustment of IC chips connect the analog circuits of the IC chip with the adjustment controller outside the semiconductor wafer via the probing region and the signal transmission region outside the IC chip, measure and adjust the performance of the IC chip by the adjustment controller, and then, only store final adjustment data in the adjustment memory of the IC chip. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the area of adjustment circuits added to an integrated circuit chip such as an RFID tag chip and adjust the performance of chips at a wafer level.

    Abstract: An audio system is disclosed in which offset phenomenon caused by a phase difference between the reproduced audio signals of front speakers and rear speakers is prevented. In the system a plurality of equalizers compensate the frequency characteristics of the output signals of a volume controller. A power amplifier amplifies the power of the output signals. A phase adjusting circuit divides at least one or more sets of the audio signals into a plurality of frequency bands when the audio signals are inputted from a volume controller to the plurality of the equalizers, and adjusts the phase of at least one or more sets of the audio signals among the divided audio signals. Accordingly, phase interferences are prevented between the audio signal sets of the front speakers and the rear speakers, and therefore, the audio signals of the low frequency bands can be boosted in a natural manner.

    Abstract: An apparatus and a method for performing a chemical vapor deposition process that reduces particle contamination of a wafer, wherein a cleaning gas including a fluorine radical is introduced into the process chamber to clean the chamber. After loading a wafer in the process chamber, a deposition gas is introduced into the chamber to form a film on the wafer. An inert gas as a back flow-preventing gas is introduced into the process chamber through a cleaning gas supply line to prevent the deposition gas from flowing back toward the cleaning gas supply line. Thus, the cleaning gas supply line is prevented from being contaminated by the deposition gas and particle formation on the wafer during deposition of the film is reduced, so that yield and reliability of the semiconductor device may be improved.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an accurate method using laser welding for mounting an optical focusing lens utilized in a semi-conductor laser module for optical transmission and optical amplification through an optical fiber and a laser module so produced. The laser module includes an aligned laser diode, a lens fixture mounting the laser diode, a focusing lens mounted within a lens housing which in turn is mounted by a lens ring to the lens fixture. In the method, the steps include aligning mutual positions between the laser diode and the optical focusing lens in the vertical and horizontal directions so that the magnitude of the optical signal output from the optical fiber is maximized after the distance between the optical focusing lens and the optical fiber is adjusted and fixed to obtain a maximum optical coupling efficiency between the laser diode and the optical fiber. Next a laser-welding step is performed at an interval between the lens housing and the lens ring. The mutual positions between the laser diode and the optical focusing lens are aligned in the vertical and horizontal directions so that the magnitude of the optical signal output from the optical fiber is maximized. Finally a laser-welding step is performed at an interval between the lens fixture and the lens ring.
