Abstract:
The invention relates to a protective cap for sealing a connector for a container containing medical substances, a connector system and a method for cleaning and/or disinfecting a surface of a recessed membrane of a connector. The protective cap (1, 1′) according to the invention comprises an external cap section (2) and an internal cap section (3), wherein a substantially annular hollow space (4) is formed between the external cap section (2) and the internal cap section (3) for the insertion of an annular connection component (21) of a connector (20), wherein the internal cap section (2) contains a swab (5, 5′, 5″) for cleaning and/or disinfecting a membrane (23) of the connector (20) set back from the edge (22) of the connection component (21).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for connecting a syringe to a container or tubing, particularly for connecting a syringe to a container for receiving infusion-, transfusion-, or enteral nutrition solutions and particularly for connecting a syringe to tubing of a blood tube system of an extracorporeal blood treatment device or to tubing for a venous portal. The invention also relates to a container and tubing with such a device. The device according to the invention has a connecting part (2) which connects to the container or the tubing, the connecting part having a recess (3) in which a membrane (12) is arranged, the membrane closing the channel-shaped recess. A hollow body (22) having a syringe (23) is arranged in the recess (3) of the connecting part (2) in such a manner that the membrane (12) is pierced upon connection of the syringe to the connecting part. The device according to the invention is characterized in that the membrane (12) is arranged above the hollow body (22) in the connecting part (2) recess (3), such that upon connection of the syringe to the connecting part, the membrane is pressed onto the tip of the hollow body.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a closing cap for containers that are filled with medical liquids. The closing cap includes removal and injection sites. The removal site has a first opening for removing the medical liquid and is obturated by a first pierceable self-sealing membrane. The injection site includes a second opening for injecting an additive and is obturated by a second pierceable self-sealing membrane. The first and second membranes are configured differently.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a connector for medical liquid-containing packages, in particular to infusion or transfusion bags comprising a connection element (1) provided with a channel-shaped opening (1c) in which a self-sealing membrane (8) is arranged. A breakable part (17) which is connected to the connection piece closes the channel-shaped opening. Above the membrane (8), said connection element is embodied in the form a connection piece (13) comprising an internal cone (14) and external thread (15), the membrane (8) being sealed for receiving a syringe cone shaft. The inventive connector makes it possible to inject an active substance by means of a conventional Luer lock syringe devoid of an injection cannula (needle).
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a connector for packaging containing medical fluids, in particular infusion or transfusion bags, including a tubular connection part for receiving a spike for the withdrawal of fluid, and having a lower opening on the packaging side and an upper opening on the connection side. A self-sealing membrane, which is pierced by the spike, is located in the connection part. The membrane has an upper, annular section leading into a lower, plate-shaped section, said annular section of the membrane surrounding the spike in a sealing manner, when the latter pierces the plate-shaped section. The membrane acts as a guide for the spike and also reseals the connector, once the spike has been removed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a tamper evident seal for container orifices of the connector type, comprising a closure part. In accordance with the invention, on its bottom side, the closure part has an annular section, whose lower rim area is sealably retained in an annular gap formed in the opening area of the orifice.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a closure cap (1) for receptacles for receiving medical liquids, in particular receptacles filled with infusion solutions, transfusion solutions or liquids for enteral nutrition. The invention further relates to a receptacle (40) for receiving medical liquids, in particular a bottle, comprising such a closure cap. The closure cap (1) according to the invention is characterized by two injection parts (6 and 7) arranged separately from one another, each for injecting an additive. One injection part (6) serves to inject an additive with an injection syringe that has a needle (cannula), while the other injection part (7) serves to inject an additive with a needle-less injection syringe.
