摘要： A panel assembly that may be used in doors, particularly hollow metal doors, and other types of panels such as interior and exterior walls, room partitions, and the like. The panel assembly exemplified by a hollow or filled metal door is constructed from a deep pan and a shallow pan made from unitary pieces of sheet metal sheet and each pan includes top, bottom, and two opposing side flanges extending from rectangular face members. The flanges of the deep pan are substantially perpendicular to its rectangular face member and higher than those of the shallow pan. Side flanges of one of the pans have first latch members formed along free side edges of their side flanges remote from their respective face member and side flanges of the other pan have second mating latch members formed along free side edges of their side flanges remote from their respective face members. The top and bottom flanges have doubly bent edges that are formed along free side edges of their top and bottom flanges remote from their respective face members. The free side edges of the top and bottom flanges are doubly bent so as to be in overlapping abutting relationship or shiplapped with corresponding ones of the front and rear plans. The first latch member of each pan is secured to the second latch member of the other pan such that the pans are secured and form the panel.

摘要： A testing apparatus and methods for use with a tensile testing machine for simulating thermal, acceleration, and ignition pressurization loads upon a grain support system of a solid rocket motor during ignition. The apparatus includes a pair of antisymmetrically disposed L-shaped test fixtures within which is attached a test specimen. The test specimen is configured to simulate two propellant grain support systems. The grain support systems in the test specimen are antisymmetrically disposed, thereby permitting two specimens to be tested simultaneously by the application of uniaxial tension to the apparatus.

摘要： A deicing system for applying a deicing mixture to an aircraft is provided. Water is enclosed in a first tank, and deicing fluid in a second tank. A first pump transfers water through a heater, to a heat exchanger located in the second tank. The deicing fluid is thereby heated to a desired operating temperature by the hot water flowing through the heat exchanger, with the flow of hot water controlled by a heater control device. The first pump and second pump transfer heated water and heated deicing fluid, respectively, to a mixing chamber. A mixing control means controls the respective flows to provide the desired mixture. The mixture of water and deicing fluid is then applied to the aircraft via a nozzle.

摘要： A stake pocket tie-down and a flatbed trailer that uses that stake pocket tie down. The stake pocket tie-down includes post section that fits into a stake opening of the flatbed trailer. The post section includes a pass-through opening and a top stationary platform having a shoulder for resting on a stake opening. A rotating base having a retention collar is located above the stationary platform. A rotating post is fixed to the rotating base and passes through and is rotatingly attached to the stationary platform. A swiveling D-ring is connected to the retention collar. That ring can rotate relative to the stationary platform. A securing device having a handle passes through the pass-through opening. A retention device retains the securing device in the pass-through opening.

摘要： The present invention is directed to novel nucleotide and amino acid sequences of Torque teno virus (“TTV”), including novel genotypes thereof, all of which are useful in the preparation of vaccines for treating and preventing diseases in swine and other animals. Vaccines provided according to the practice of the invention are effective against multiple swine TTV genotypes and isolates. Diagnostic and therapeutic polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies are also a feature of the present invention, as are infectious clones useful in the propagation of the virus and in the preparation of vaccines. Particularly important aspects of the invention include vaccines that provide TTV ORF1 protein, or peptide fragments thereof, as antigen.
