    摘要: A portable electronic apparatus functioning as a pen-table, includes a touch-screen module for detecting contact with an external object and creating position data of a detected region. The portable electronic apparatus, by functioning as a pen-table, eliminates the need to install or carry a mouse, a pen-table, etc. for controlling a personal computer, a laptop computer or the like. A local area communication module transmits and receives data based on a local area communication protocol, and a display module displays the detected region and information on a user interface (UI) and functions of the apparatus. A controller controls the operations of the modules in response to the user's input so as to transmit position data created by the touch-screen module to an electronic device that includes the functions of a pen-table and local area communication.

    摘要: A portable terminal is provided, in which a hinge device provides a pair of hinge axes extended in parallel, a pair of folding cases are engaged with the hinge device and rotate upon the hinge axes, respectively, and sliding housings are installed in the respective folding cases. The folding cases rotate in a folding direction or in an unfolding direction via the hinge device, and when the folding cases rotate, the sliding housings slide on the folding cases. When the sliding housings are opened at 180° with respect to each other, one end of the sliding housing is in a close relationship with one end of another sliding housing.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display and a method for driving the same, which improve image quality by increasing data line charge speed, are provided. In the display, a preparatory charging controller receives current image data to be provided to m current pixels of an nth horizontal line and a current vertical polarity-reversal control signal for vertically controlling polarities of the current image data, compares current image data with previous data provided to m corresponding previous pixels of an n−1th horizontal line, compares the current control signal with a previous one, and determines a logic value of a preparatory charging control signal based on the comparison. A data driver performs either a first operation for connecting and separating m data lines connected respectively to m current pixels, or a second operation for maintaining the m data lines separated, according to the logic value and provides the current data to the m pixels.
