    摘要： Provided herein are multi-layer composite construction materials which are suitable as an external insulating layer on a dwelling, which includes homes, office buildings and other installations. The composite constructions of the invention comprise an insulating layer which is typically abutted or adhered to an outside surface of a dwelling, often to the exterior of a foundation or basement wall near the ground line. A composite according to the invention resists damage and abrasion from normal activities, which may include landscaping activity and normal wear and tear experienced by external building surfaces.

    摘要： A method wherein a thin card web which contains meltable synthetic fibers as well as natural fibers is processed into a thicker web of fleece. The synthetic fibers are initially melted to prestrengthen the web. Then the web is saturated with the appropriate fluid finishing agent for making the web flame-resistant and the like and this web can then be readily dried on a screen drum dryer. It is at this point that the web layers are accumulated into a proper fleece in a cross layer unit which transfer the end product to a heat treatment assembly for heating to effect vulcanization, curing or setting of the synthetic fibers.

    摘要： An apparatus and method for coating a substrate with plastisol and depositing pebbles into the ungelled coated plastisol is presented. A powder containing fusible particles compatible with the coated substrate and the pebbles is then deposited by at least one rotary silk-screen printing frame and thereafter a heat treatment is carried out in an oven or with infrared lamps at a temperature below the distortion temperature of the substrate in order to set the deposited materials.
