    摘要: A method and a device are disclosed which seek to improve productivity of the installation of fasteners. This improved productivity is achieved by holding a fastener to a driving tool with a mechanical means for a substantial portion of an installation sequence to prevent nuisance disengagement between fasteners and their driving means including dropping of fasteners early in an installation cycle. The productivity of this fastener holding approach is best realized by allowing a streamlined operation with little interaction between the fastener driving device and an operator. Specifically, a fastener installation device is described which requires no direct manipulation of said device during the sequence of loading a fastener into said device, installation of said fastener with said device, disengagement of said device from said fastener to allow complete installation of said fastener, and loading a subsequent fastener.

    摘要: A turbine includes an inner casing to which at least a stator vane of a turbine section is mountable, and an outer casing arranged around the inner casing in such a way that an outer cooling channel is formed between the inner casing and the outer casing. The outer cooling channel includes a fluid inlet through which a cooling fluid is injectable from an outer volume of the turbine into the outer cooling channel. The cooling channel includes a fluid outlet such that the cooling fluid is exhausted into an inner volume of the turbine. The fluid inlet is located with respect to the fluid outlet such that the cooling fluid inside the outer cooling channel includes a flow direction which has a component that is orientated in opposite direction with respect to a main flow direction of a working fluid of the turbine.

    摘要: An ice chopping assembly includes at least a blade, shaft, handle, and force enhancing assembly. The blade may includes at least one face and at least one edge cooperatively structured to break ice formed on a solid surface, but may otherwise be appropriately configured to break ice. The shaft is rigidly affixed to the blade opposite the edge. The handle may be rigidly mounted to a bushing, through which a restricting device may travel. The restricting device includes a stop structure about which the bushing may be concentrically disposed. At opposite ends of the stop structure may be stop segments which limit the reciprocal travel of the blade relative to the handle.
