摘要: A recording device which carries out the recording process with respect to a recording medium using a recording unit mounted on a moving member that reciprocates along a scan direction intersecting a feeding direction of the recording medium, including a reception unit that receives a recording instruction; an end portion detection unit that detects a position of an end portion in the width direction of the recording medium, based on a detection signal that is output from a signal output portion provided in the moving member; a memory unit that stores end portion positional information; and a control unit that controls the movement of the moving member so that, when the end portion positional information is stored in the memory unit and an edge recording is instructed by the recording instruction, the position of the end portion in the width direction of the recording medium is not detected.

摘要: A control system for an internal combustion engine, which is capable of enhancing the accuracy of fuel control and ignition timing control even when there is a possibility that the reliability of a calculated intake air amount lowers, and enables reduction of manufacturing costs. An ECU of the control system calculates a first estimated intake air amount according to a valve lift, a cam phase, and a compression ratio, calculates a second estimated intake air amount according to the flow rate of air detected by an air flow sensor. The ECU determines a fuel injection amount according to the first estimated intake air amount when an estimated flow rate Gin_vt calculated based on an engine speed, the valve lift, the cam phase, and the compression ratio is within the range of Gin_vt≦Gin1, and according to the second estimated intake air amount when Gin2≦Gin_vt.

摘要: A control apparatus which is capable of compensating for a control error properly and quickly even under a condition where the control error is temporarily increased e.g. by degradation of reliability of the detection results of reference parameters other than controlled variables, thereby making it possible to ensure a high accuracy of control. An air-fuel ratio controller of the control apparatus calculates modified errors by multiplying e.g. an air-fuel ratio error estimated value by link weight functions, calculates basic local correction values such that the modified errors become equal to 0; calculates local correction values by multiplying the basic local correction values and the like by the link weight functions; calculates corrected valve lift by adding a lift correction value, which is the total sum of the local correction values, to a value of valve lift; calculates a first estimated intake air amount for feedforward control of an air-fuel ratio, based on the corrected valve lift; calculates an air-fuel ratio correction coefficient for feedback control of the air-fuel ratio; and calculates a fuel injection amount based on these.

The device for estimating the intake air amount used for providing the intake air amount of an internal combustion engine having a variable valve mechanism comprises a reference value acquisition means for providing an intake air amount reference value from a specified map based on the rotational speed, valve lift, and valve phase angle of the internal combustion engine, a measurement value acquisition means for providing a measurement value according to the output of an air flow meter installed in the intake pipe of the internal combustion engine, a calculation means for providing a correction factor to minimize a deviation between a value obtained by multiplying the intake air amount reference value by the correction factor and the measurement value, and an estimated value calculating means for calculating an estimated intake air amount value by multiplying the provided correction factor by the intake air amount reference value.

摘要: An in-cylinder pressure sensor for outputting a signal corresponding to an internal cylinder pressure of an engine is provided. A first signal and a second signal are extracted from the output signal of the in-cylinder pressure sensor. The first signal has a frequency band corresponding to knocking of the engine. The second signal has a frequency band used for detecting a peak of the internal cylinder pressure. A knocking detection period is set based on the second signal. The first signal in the knocking detection period is examined to determine whether or not knocking has occurred.

摘要: A cam phase control system for an internal combustion engine, which is capable of suppressing deviation of the cam phase which is caused by a sudden change in the engine speed due to the structure of a variable cam phase mechanism, thereby securing excellent controllability and high control accuracy. The coma phase control system of the engine comprise an ECU and an electromagnetic variable cam phase mechanism. The ECU calculates an SLD control input for causing the cam phase to converge to a target cam phase by equations (1) to (6), calculates a gain-adjusted value by modulating the SLD control input by equations (20) to (25), calculates a correction value according to the engine speed NE, and calculates a control input for controlling the variable cam phase mechanism by correcting the gain-adjusted value by the correction value.
