Abstract:
There are provided a machine tool cooling system and cooling method which allow cost reduction by reducing the number of control valves, and in which opening/closing control is simple. The machine tool cooling system and cooling method include a hot oil tank 4 storing hot oil, a cold oil tank 5 storing cold oil, a first to third hot oil passages 9a to 9c and a first to third cold oil passages 10a to 10c, which supply the hot oil and the cold oil to a first to third heat generating portions 1 to 3, a hot oil return passage 11 returning the hot oil to the hot oil tank 4, a first to third supply control valves 16a to 16c interposed in the first to third cold oil passages 10a to 10c, and a valve controller 8 controlling opening/closing of the first to third supply control valves 16a to 16c so that the cold oil is supplied to the first to third heat generating portions 1 to 3 intermittently at different timings.

The present invention provides: a process for preparing a vinyl polymer containing a halogen in an amount of 1,000 mg or less per kilogram, in which a vinyl polymer containing the halogen produced by atom transfer radical polymerization of a vinyl monomer is heated at a temperature in the range of 140 to 250° C. to dehalogenate the vinyl polymer; a vinyl polymer obtained by the process; and a hydrosilylation-reactive curable composition containing the vinyl polymer.
Abstract:
Disclosed are: an environmentally friendly red light-emitting semiconductor element which operates at low voltage, while having sufficient luminous efficiency and sufficient luminous intensity; and a method for manufacturing the same. Specifically disclosed is a method for manufacturing a red light-emitting semiconductor element, wherein an active layer is formed between a p-type layer and an n-type layer in a sequence of the formation steps of the p-type layer and the n-type layer, said active layer being obtained by adding Eu or Pr into GaN, InN, AlN or a mixed crystal thereof by substituting Ga, In or Al with Eu or Pr, using an organic metal vapor phase deposition method under specific temperature conditions in a site wherein light having a wavelength of 618-623 nm can be emitted. Also specifically disclosed is a red light-emitting semiconductor element which is manufactured by the method for manufacturing a red light-emitting semiconductor element.

Abstract:
It is an object of the present invention to provide a resin powder composed of an isobutylene polymer having low contents of a remaining solvent and a remaining monomer in a product. The present invention is accomplished by a method of removing a solvent while suspending the isobutylene polymer solution in water with a surfactant to obtain resin slurry, and subjecting the resin slurry to steam stripping at a temperature ranging from 150° C. to less than 180° C. to produce a resin powder without deterioration in quality, the resin powder having significantly low contents of the remaining solvent and remaining styrene in the resin.

Abstract:
A method of preparing a polymer containing functional groups by reacting a polymer (A) having alkenyl groups with less than 1/N mole ratio with respect to the mole number of the alkenyl group of a silicon polyhydride compound (B) having 2 to 6 hydrogen-silicon bonds in one molecule, so as to increase the molecular weight and leaving unreacted alkenyl groups remain in molecules, or if desired, by adding the silane compound (C) in the reaction system so as to react the silane compound with the remaining alkenyl group in one-point process.
Abstract:
A converter exhaust gas recovery apparatus includes a furnace top oxygen analyzer that analyzes an oxygen concentration in exhaust gas on an exhaust gas path and on an upstream side of a dust collection position where dust collection is performed and a furnace top CO analyzer that analyzes a CO concentration in the exhaust gas; and a furnace bottom oxygen analyzer that irradiates the exhaust gas that flows on a downstream side of the dust collection position with a laser light and analyzes the oxygen concentration based on quantity-of-light changes caused by a light absorption of the laser light.
