摘要: The invention relates to a motor vehicle comprising a compressed-air braking system. Said vehicle has two braking cylinders, which can be impinged by compressed-air from a compressed-air reserve by means of a manually actuated brake valve. The braking cylinders have ABS pressure-control valves, which can be selectively impinged by compressed air from the compressed-air reserve, using a slip control valve. A stability sensor detects a motor vehicle position and a control device selectively supplies the slip control valve and the ABS pressure-control valves with compressed air, in accordance with the signals of the stability sensor.

摘要: The invention relates to a sample depositing device, particularly for a cell sorter, comprising a sample supply (38, 39) for supplying samples to be deposited and comprising a sample storage element (36) for storing the samples. Said sample storage element (36) has a number of sample containers for storing the samples separately. The invention provides that the sample storage element (36) is mounted in a displaceable manner in order to select a sample container whereas the sample supply (38, 39) is stationary.

摘要: A method is for effecting a computer-aided estimation of the mass of a vehicle, e.g., of a goods-carrying vehicle, based on the equilibrium ratio between the driving force and the sum of the inertial force and drive resistances, in which the mass and a gradient angle of the roadway are contained as quantities. The method may include: a) computer-aided differentiation of the equilibrium ratio according to the time with the assumption that the gradient angle is constant; and b) calculating the mass of the vehicle and/or the reciprocal value of the mass from the equilibrium ratio differentiated according the time.

摘要: The invention relates to a particle injector for introducing particles into a carrier flow of a microfluidic system, especially for injecting biological cells into the carrier flow of a cell sorter. The particle injector includes an inlet for receiving the carrier flow, an outlet for discharging the carrier flow including the introduced particles, a carrier flow channel which connects the inlet to the outlet, and an injection channel flowing into the carrier flow channel for introducing the particles into the carrier flow. The inventive particle injector is characterized in that the carrier flow channel has substantially no dead volume.

摘要: In a method for correcting for the size and/or shape of a measuring volume (18)in a chemical and/or biological sample (14), especially in fluorescence spectroscopy, a measuring volume (18) located within the sample (14) is imaged to a detector means (44), using observing optics (32). The imaging is effected through a sample carrier w all (16) of a sample carrier (12) containing the sample (14). In the next step, the thickness of the sample carrier wall (16) is automatically determined. Thereafter, at least one lens (28) is shifted automatically along an optical axis of the observing optics (32) to correct for the size and/or shape of the measuring volume (18) as a function of the thickness of the sample carrier wall (16).

摘要: According to the invention, the driving stability of a utility vehicle combination, which is comprised of a towing vehicle and of a towed vehicle, is monitored (3-5) when the towed vehicle is braked. In the event of an unstable driving state, the vehicle combination is stabilized by effecting a cyclic or clocked reduction of the towed vehicle brake pressure (6).
