摘要： Compositions and methods are described for delaying the onset of the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease in humans. The compositions can include curcumin, piperine, oleic acid, oleanolic acid, ursolic acid, galantamine, and huperzine A, among other compounds. Curcumin is an antioxidant, while galantamine and huperzine A inhibit the activity of acetylcholinesterase in the brain. Piperine and oleic acid increase the bioavailability and gastrointestinal absorption of curcumin, galantamine, huperzine A, and other nutrients. The composition can also include at least one of phytic acid, piracetam, aniracetam, or indium.

The composition includes a mixture of a hydrocarbon fuel and an organometallic soap selected from among several cerium-containing and ferric compounds. The cerium-containing compound or compounds increase the energy released during combustion of the fuel. The ferric compound or compounds coat an interior wall of a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine to increase the power output of the engine by reducing the accumulation of residues deposited on the interior wall which interfere with the combustion of fuel.

摘要： A system and method for generating ozone for use in open or closed loop process applications using a fluid, such as water, as a primary process medium, including: a water storage tank, supplied by a water supply line, for temporarily storing water for treatment and subsequent use in a process; an electromagnetic flux unit connected to the water supply line for exposing water supplied to the tank to an electromagnetic field thereby magnetically polarizing contaminants and dissolved solids present in the water; an apparatus for producing highly pure oxygen from ambient air for use as a feed gas in generating ozone; a corona discharge ozone generator for producing high purity ozone from a highly pure oxygen feed gas; an impeller apparatus, including a rapidly rotating shear impeller, for injecting ozone, created by the ozone generator, into water wherein the ozone is absorbed thus yielding a substantially high level of dissolved ozone gas in a given volume of water; an apparatus for measuring the concentration of dissolved ozone present in water; and a microprocessor based controller for controlling the system to reach and maintain suitable ozone concentration levels, depending on the application, whereby the ozonated water is suitable for use in a wide variety of process applications.

摘要： A rodenticide composition is described along with a method for using the same to exterminate rodents. The composition features a mixture of a dehydrant for causing dehydration in a rodent, a water-absorbent, hygromorphic carrier for absorbing water and expanding after consumption by the rodent, and a flavoring composition. The carrier can be a source of cellulose or a non-cellulosic material. After consumption of the composition by a rodent, the dehydrant and carrier cause the rodent to experience dehydration. The rodenticide composition may also include an irritant that causes digestive stress to the rodent, which further stresses and dehydrates the rodent. Once the rodenticide composition is prepared, it may be placed in areas frequented by or infested with rodents so as to kill the rodents once they consume the composition. One or more flavorings, coloring agents, and weather resistant materials may also be added to the composition.
