摘要: Features described herein pertain to generative machine learning, and more particularly, to machine learning techniques for generating virtual characters. A video that depicts a first subject and includes an audio component that corresponds to speech spoken by the first subject and an image that depicts a second subject are provided to and used by one or more machine learning models to generate a video that depicts the second subject. The second subject can blink and exhibit emotional characteristic and reactions that are responsive to the speech spoken by the first subject and/or a characteristic of the first subject such as a facial expression and/or head pose motion. The generated video can be displayed and/or stored where it can be later retrieved.

摘要: Systems and methods of driving plate loudspeakers with different parameters based on frequency region in a way similar to typical cone driver crossover networks are described. These systems and methods may be implemented using arrays of independently controlled drivers which allow a designer to emphasize or de-emphasize certain modes in certain frequency bands. Tuning the characteristics of the plate's motion can also affect the acoustical properties in a larger space rather than just at a single location. The systems and methods described herein can grant a designer a degree of control over the characteristics and performance of the plate.

摘要: A device, system and method for the detection and screening of plastic microparticles in a sample is disclosed. A nanoporous silicon nitride membrane is used to entrap plastic microparticles contained in the sample. The sample may be a water sample, an air sample, or other liquid or gas sample. The entrapped plastic microparticles are then heated or otherwise processed on the nanoporous silicon nitride membrane. An imaging system observes the nanoporous silicon nitride membrane with the entrapped plastic microparticles to determine the type and quantity of the various plastic microparticles that are entrapped on the membrane.

摘要: A device and method for isolating extracellular vesicles from biofluids is disclosed. A nanoporous silicon nitride membrane is provided with a tangential flow of biofluid. A pressure gradient through the nanoporous silicon nitride membrane facilitates capture of extracellular vesicles from the tangential flow vector of biofluid. Reversal of the pressure gradient results in the release of the extracellular vesicles for subsequent collection.

摘要: A pre-objective two-degree-of-freedom galvanometer scanning system including two galvo mirrors (111,112) with an optical relay (120) between the mirrors (111,112) and a microscope objective (130) with a curved image plane (140) is presented. The second galvo mirror (112) is located in the aperture stop before the objective. The optical system enables scanning in both directions over the full, curved field for creating custom refractive structures across the 6.5 mm optical zone of contact lenses using femtosecond micro-modification.
