摘要: The invention relates to a kit of parts for preparing a glass ionomer composition for dental use, the kit of parts comprising a Powder Part P and a Liquid Part L, Powder Part P comprising: acid-reactive inorganic filler, Liquid Part L comprising: water, complexing agent, polyacid, either the Powder Part P or the Liquid Part L or the Powder Part P and the Liquid Part L comprising non-aggregated nano-sized particles based on silica or alumina, the composition obtained by combining the components of Powder Part P and Liquid Part L before hardening comprising the components in the following amounts: non-aggregated nano-sized particles: from 0.1 to 15 wt.-%, acid-reactive filler in an amount from 50 to 75 wt.-%, polyacid: 7 to 20 wt.-%, complexing agent: 0.5 to 3 wt.-%, water: 5 to 18 wt.-%, wt.-% with respect to the weight of the whole composition.

The invention also relates to the use of the dental composition as or for producing a dental filling material, crown and bridge material, inlay, onlay, veneer or dental mill blank.

摘要: The invention relates to a radiation-curable radiopaque dental composition comprising a resin matrix comprising cross-linkable component(s) as Component A, ethylenically unsaturated component(s) with acidic moiety as Component B, an initiator system comprising photoinitiator(s) as Component C, reducing agent(s) as Component D, Component A containing at least two (meth)acrylate moieties and a brominated aromatic moiety selected from brominated resorcinol, catechol, tyrosol, benzoic acid, or phenol moieties. The composition can be used for producing an x-ray visible dental adhesive composition, restoration primer or dental sealant.

摘要: The present disclosure provides methods of making a hydrated orthodontic article is provided. One method includes a) providing a photopolymerizable composition; b) selectively curing the photopolymerizable composition using actinic radiation to form an article in the shape of an orthodontic article having a plurality of layers of at least one photopolymerized polymer; and c) exposing the article to water by submersion in water, thereby hydrating the article. A sheet of the at least one photopolymerized polymer has a bending modulus when hydrated of 100 MPa or greater and 2200 MPa or less. Another method includes exposing the orthodontic article to water vapor and hermetically sealing the hydrated orthodontic article in a container. Hydrated orthodontic articles are also provided, including an orthodontic article that is prepared according to one of the methods. The present disclosure further provides kits, including an orthodontic article and instructions for exposing the orthodontic article to water to hydrate the orthodontic article, as well as including a hydrated orthodontic article hermetically sealed in a container.

The build platform forms a build surface that faces a light source. The build platform and the light source are positionable relative to each other by computer control. The invention enables the making of colored objects by stereolithography.

摘要: The present disclosure provides compositions, articles, and methods related to altering electromagnetic radiation. An actinic radiation curable precursor composition of a three-dimensional article includes a) a resin comprising an actinic radiation curable component, wherein the resin has a viscosity no greater than 500 cP; b) hollow glass microspheres having a density no greater than 2 g/mL and an average diameter no greater than 200 micrometers; and c) a photoinitiator. At least part of the surface of the hollow glass microspheres comprises a surface coating or modification. An article includes a photo(co)polymerization reaction product of the composition. A method of manufacturing a three-dimensional article includes the steps of a) providing an actinic radiation curable precursor composition; and b) selectively exposing a portion of the composition to a source of actinic radiation to at least partially cure the exposed portion of the composition, thereby forming a cured layer. Steps a) and b) are repeated so as to form a three-dimensional article. A three-dimensional article is provided, obtained according to the method. Methods of interfering with electromagnetic radiation originating from an electromagnetic radiation producing device are provided, including integrating an article into the electronic device or placing an article in the vicinity of the electromagnetic radiation producing device.
