摘要： An imaging assembly, which is particularly useful for a video camera unit, comprising a set of lenses, some of which have a non-refractive surface, and an image sensor. 摘要： A video camera unit is separated into a holder for receiving lenses and a base on which a solid-state image pickup chip is mounted. The holder and the base are assembled together with the distance between them made variable so that it is possible to adjust the back focus of the lens. Further, a video camera unit has a holder which is separated into a first holder for receiving lenses and a second holder for receiving a solid-state image pickup device so that both holders can be assembled together with the distance between them made variable. Therefore, it is also possible to adjust the back focus of the lens.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between the first and second substrate, plural reflective electrodes arranged on a surface of the first substrate on a liquid crystal layer side thereof, each of the reflective electrodes being adapted to be supplied with a video signal; and plural light-blocking conductive films disposed below the reflective electrodes with an insulating layer interposed between the light-blocking films and the reflective electrodes. Each of the light-blocking films is electrically connected to a corresponding one of the reflective electrodes, and is disposed to cover at least a portion of spacings between the corresponding one of the reflective electrodes and ones of the reflective electrodes adjacent thereto.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device includes plural reflective electrodes supplied with a video signal, second light-blocking conductive films below the reflective electrodes with a first insulating layer therebetween, and a first light-blocking film below the second light-blocking conductive films so as to cover spacing between the second light-blocking conductive films. Each of the second light-blocking films is electrically connected to a corresponding one of the reflective electrodes, and is disposed to cover at least a portion of spacings between the corresponding one of the reflective electrodes and ones of the reflective electrodes adjacent thereto. A second insulating layer is interposed between the first and second light-blocking films, and its thickness is from 150 nm to 450 nm.

摘要： A reflection-type liquid crystal display module has a liquid crystal panel including a first substrate of, for example, a rectangular shape, a second substrate opposed to the first substrate and a liquid crystal layer provided in a space between the first substrate and the second substrate to form a display screen, a package for encasing and holding the liquid crystal panel while maintaining the first substrate in an exposed state and a dichroic prism to which the first substrate is attached. At least two sides each of the first substrate have a side edge extruding outwardly over a corresponding side end of the second substrate. The side edges of the first substrate are fixed between the dichroic prism and the package, whereby the second substrate is supported by the first substrate and not by the package.
