摘要: A method includes detecting a change in a loading condition on an engine based on use of an implement system including a pump driven by the engine, an actuator fluidly coupled to the pump, and an implement repositionable with the actuator. The change in the loading condition is detected based on a variation in a command signal from a joystick that controls movement of the implement, an outlet pressure of the pump, a displacement of the pump, and/or an engagement signal of a clutch positioned to selectively couple the pump to the engine. The method further includes commanding a fueling system to increase an amount of fuel provided to the engine and/or an air handling system of the machine to increase an amount of air and/or a boost pressure of the air provided to the engine in response to detection of an increasing loading condition based on the variation.

摘要: A de-aeration tank comprises a housing defining an interior volume. A first baffle comprises a first baffle first portion coupled to a first baffle second portion. The first baffle first portion extends away from the first baffle second portion at a nonzero angle, and the first baffle second portion is positioned so as to come into contact with the fluid entering the housing through an inlet vent. A first air vent is defined by a first distance between the first portion and the housing. A second baffle comprises a second baffle first portion coupled to the second baffle second portion. The second baffle first portion extends away from the second baffle second portion at a nonzero angle, and the second baffle second portion is positioned so as to come into contact with the fluid directed by the second portion and direct the fluid toward the bottom of the interior volume.

The method includes receiving, at an electronic control unit (“ECU”) of the vehicle, an indication that the vehicle is in line at a drive-thru. The method further includes determining, by the ECU, a number of start-stop events anticipated during the drive-thru. The method includes determining, by the ECU, an approximate stop time for each of the number of start-stop events. The method further includes determining, by the ECU, that a battery of the vehicle has enough remaining charge to power a plurality of vehicle components during implementation of the start-stop feature. The method includes implementing, by the ECU, the start-stop feature in which the internal combustion engine is turned off for at least a portion of the time when the vehicle is stopped.

摘要: An internal combustion engine operatively coupled with a variable load and an electronic control system operatively coupled with the internal combustion engine. The electronic control system is structured to receive an engine speed target value, a first engine speed feedback value, and a second engine speed feedback value. The electronic control system processes the first engine speed feedback value and the second engine speed feedback value to determine a feedforward correction value. The feedforward correction value is determined to correct for first variation between the second engine speed feedback value and the first engine speed feedback value due to variation in the variable load and to distinguish between the first variation and a second variation due to operation of the internal combustion engine. The control system processes the first engine speed feedback value target, the second engine speed feedback value and the feedforward correction value to determine an engine fueling command, and controls fueling of the internal combustion engine using the fueling command.
