A presentation control device controlling an information presentation device in a vehicle equipped with a vehicle control device for controlling an acceleration-deceleration function or a steering function, includes: a plan acquisition section that acquires a travel plan indicating a control content of the vehicle; a behavior change determination section that determines whether a control target value relating to a magnitude of a behavior change included in the travel plan is larger than an advance threshold; and a presentation execution section that presents the control content to the occupant using the information presentation device in accordance with the behavior change occurring in the vehicle when the control target value is smaller than the advance threshold, and presents the control content temporarily in advance of an actual behavior change when the control target value is larger than the advance threshold.

Abstract:
A travel control apparatus is provided. The travel control apparatus acquires driver abnormality information indicative of an abnormality of a driver of a vehicle, makes a determination that the driver is in a driving difficulty state based at least on the driver abnormality information, and activates a lane departure prevention function and a cruise control function of the vehicle at substantially the same time during a time period between when the driver abnormality information is acquired and when the driving difficulty state is determined. Together with activating the lane departure prevention function and the cruise control function, the travel control apparatus outputs notification request information to a human machine interface controller controlling a notification device which issues a notification to a passenger of the vehicle. The notification request information causes the notification indicative of activation of the lane departure prevention function and the cruise control function to be issued.

A notice management apparatus controls a notice instrument that provides a notice to an occupant of a vehicle. The notice instrument is mounted to the vehicle together with a vehicle control apparatus that achieves an assistance function assisting a lane change of the vehicle. The notice management apparatus includes a start time obtainer section and a notice adjuster section. The start time obtainer section obtains the information which indicates a steering start point of time at which the vehicle control apparatus starts a lane change of the vehicle. The notice adjuster section causes the notice instrument to provide continuously a notice indicating a decrease in a residual period of time up to the steering start point of time obtained by the start time obtainer section.

An information presentation apparatus is provided. A light emission device (40) and a HCU (100) are mounted on a vehicle A together with a device having a driving assist function for assisting a driving operation of a driver or taking a wheel. The light emission device is arranged on an instrument panel of the vehicle (A), and displays at least one light emission spot (51) in a linear light emission area (52) arranged to extend in a width direction (WD) of the vehicle. The HCU acquires operation information about the driving assist function, and controls a light emission mode of the light emission spot in the linear light emission area based on the operation information. The HCU switches a reference position, at which the light emission spot is displayed, between a case where the driving assist function is in operation and a case where the driving assist function is not in operation.

The travel control apparatus further includes an assistance control section that initiates a driving assistance control during an interval from when the abnormality is detected to when the driving difficulty state is determined; the driving assistance control includes at least activating a lane departure prevention function of the vehicle.
