Abstract: A remote monitoring apparatus includes an assistance request receiving unit, an object information receiving unit, a determining unit, a past image receiving unit and an operator collaboration unit. The assistance request receiving unit receives an assistance request transmitted from an autonomous vehicle. The object information receiving unit requests, before the assistance request is sent to an operator, the autonomous vehicle to transmit object information and receives it from the autonomous vehicle. The determining unit determines, based on the object information, whether at least one past image is required. The past image receiving unit requests, upon determination by the determining unit that at least one past image is required, the autonomous vehicle to transmit the at least one past image and receives it from the autonomous vehicle. The operator collaboration unit sends the at least one past image along with the assistance request to the operator.

Abstract: A drive mode switch control device acquires operation information. The drive mode switch control device switches a drive state among at least an autonomous drive state, a manual drive state, and a coordination drive state. The operation detection unit detects a first operation and a second operation based on the operation information when the drive state is not in the manual drive state. The second operation is the drive operation different from the first operation and input after the input of the first operation. Abstract: An information presentation apparatus is provided. A light emission device (40) and a HCU (100) are mounted on a vehicle A together with a device having a driving assist function for assisting a driving operation of a driver or taking a wheel. The light emission device is arranged on an instrument panel of the vehicle (A), and displays at least one light emission spot (51) in a linear light emission area (52) arranged to extend in a width direction (WD) of the vehicle. The HCU acquires operation information about the driving assist function, and controls a light emission mode of the light emission spot in the linear light emission area based on the operation information. The HCU switches a reference position, at which the light emission spot is displayed, between a case where the driving assist function is in operation and a case where the driving assist function is not in operation.

Abstract: A travel control apparatus is provided. The travel control apparatus acquires driver abnormality information indicative of an abnormality of a driver of a vehicle, makes a determination that the driver is in a driving difficulty state based at least on the driver abnormality information, and activates a lane departure prevention function and a cruise control function of the vehicle at substantially the same time during a time period between when the driver abnormality information is acquired and when the driving difficulty state is determined. Together with activating the lane departure prevention function and the cruise control function, the travel control apparatus outputs notification request information to a human machine interface controller controlling a notification device which issues a notification to a passenger of the vehicle. The notification request information causes the notification indicative of activation of the lane departure prevention function and the cruise control function to be issued.
