摘要: An artificial nipple can include a nipple tip section that can sufficiently reach the sucking fossa and can be appropriately squashed The artificial nipple can have a base section that widens to match an attachment object, an areola section formed contiguously to the base section and that extends while narrowing gradually, and a nipple section that extends from the areola section and that narrows more than the areola section. A flange section can be provided in the base section with a predetermined thickness. A check valve can be formed with a valve body so as to be entirely accommodated within the thickness dimension of the flange, and provided in the base section.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a component-built-in wiring board capable of preventing a defect, such as a crack, resulting from stress concentration at a corner, when a component is accommodated in a housing portion of a core material with resin filler filled therebetween. The component-built-in wiring board can include a component accommodated in the housing portion of a core material, and a laminate portion in which insulating layers and conductor layers are laminated alternately on the core material. A gap between the housing portion of the core material and the component can be filled with a resin filler. In an inner circumferential portion of the housing portion of the core material a first straight chamfered portion is formed at each corner of a rectangle, and in an outer circumferential portion of the component a second straight chamfered portion is formed at each corner of a rectangle.

摘要: A beverage container is configured to prevent a beverage from leaking out even when a user tilts the container, and to allow the user to easily drink the beverage even when pressure within the container is negative. The beverage container can include a container main body, a base member, and a cap body. The base member can have a vent for regulating a pressure variation in the container main body, and a ventilation valve for introducing air from the outside when the pressure within the container main body becomes negative in relation to the outside pressure and capable of preventing leakage of a liquid beverage contained in the container main body. The cap body can include a ventilation open/close hood capable of changing the state of the vent to a ventilation state or a closed state. The ventilation open/close hood can be configured to bring the vent into the closed state when in a portable state such as when the user carries the beverage container, and to bring the vent into the ventilation state when in an operating state.

摘要: A solid electrolytic capacitor is provided in which volume efficiency of its capacitor element is improved. A converting substrate having an anode terminal forming portion and cathode terminal portion obtained by forming notches on faces exposed on outside faces of the anode and cathode portions and performing plating in the notches in portions in which the anode and cathode portions of a lower-face electrode type solid electrolytic capacitor is connected to the capacitor element and, after a sheathing resin is formed therein, the sheathed portion and converting substrate are cut along cutting planes to form fillet forming faces on the outside faces of the anode portion and cathode portion of the lower-face electrode type solid electrolytic capacitor.

摘要: A composition for treating hearing loss includes components that function through different biological mechanisms to provide an additive effect that is greater than the effect of the individual components alone. The composition includes a biologically effective amount of vitamin E for inhibiting propagation of lipid peroxidation that contributes to hearing loss. The composition also includes a biologically effective amount of a salicylate for reducing hydroxyl radicals that contribute to hearing loss. A method of treating hearing loss includes the step of internally administering the composition, as described above, to a mammal within three days of trauma to a middle or inner ear of the mammal. In other words, the composition is effective even when administered as late as three days after trauma to a middle or inner ear of a mammal.

摘要: The position of a metal marker 5 relative to an optical fiber 6 is fixed, and the metal marker 5 can be moved up close to a target site such as a thrombus. It is preferable that the position, in an optical fiber longitudinal direction, of a front-end face of the optical fiber 6 is coincident with the position, in an optical fiber longitudinal direction, of a front-end face of the metal marker 5. More specifically, since the distance between the target site and the front end of the optical fiber 6 is known by radiography, it becomes unnecessary to use a large quantity of contrast agent and irradiate a laser beam depending on skill and intuition, and therefore an effective laser beam irradiation becomes possible.
