    摘要: Disclosed are paper coating formulations for rotogravure printing processes containing: a. 100 parts by weight or finely divided pigments; b. from 0.001 to 5 parts by weight of one or more substances selected from the group consisting of: mono-alkylsulfosuccinate; dialkylsulfosuccinates; sulfosuccinic acid mono-esters of ethoxylated and/or propoxylated fatty alcohols; sulfosuccinic acid di-esters of ethoxylated and/or propoxylated fatty alcohols; c. from 3 to 15 parts by weight of a polymeric acrylic binder, d. from 0.005 to 0.4 parts by weight of a dispersant.

    摘要: Disclosed is a process for cleaning wellbore walls, tubing or casings. The process is characterized by (a) preparing an aqueous surfactant composition containing from about 10% to 60% by weight of a mixture of surfactants, the mixture comprising from 10% to 50% by weight of an anionic derivative of an alkylpolyglycoside, from 35% to 80% by weight of an alkylpolyglycoside and from 5% to 25% by weight of an anionic derivative of a fatty alcohol, their balance being 100%; (b) diluting the aqueous surfactant composition in water to form a diluted aqueous surfactant composition and injecting the diluted aqueous surfactant composition into a wellbore containing drilling mud, oily residues or other undesirable deposits; (c) extracting from the wellbore the diluted aqueous surfactant composition containing the drilling mud, oily residues or other undesirable deposits; (d) removing the drilling mud, oily residues or other undesirable deposits from the diluted aqueous surfactant composition; and (e) optionally, re-using the diluted aqueous surfactant composition.

    摘要: Titanium sulphate solutions obtained in the sulphate process from titaniferous materials are hydrolized by contacting at 88.degree.-98.degree. C water with a first titanium sulphate solution having a TiO.sub.2 titer of 230-260 g/l and an acid factor of 1.75-1.85, adding at 88.degree.-98.degree. C to the mixture a second titanium sulphate solution having a TiO.sub.2 titer of 230-260 g/l and an acid factor of 2.1-2.4 and heating the resulting mixture at boiling point. A volumetric ratio of from 3:100 to 12:100 is maintained between the first and the second solution.

    摘要: An improved method for synthesizing alkylpolyglucosides comprising reacting a glycoside with a long-chain alcohol in the presence of a novel type of catalyst, constituted by an alkali or aryl sulfonic acid, wherein the sulfonic group is sterically hindered. Using these catalysts, a raw product is obtained which is practically free from byproducts. The resulting alkyl polyglucosides are completely biodegradable surfactants and can be used to formulate detergents.
