    摘要: Fluorine containing oxyvinyl compounds characterized by having one or more oxyvinyl groups separated from fluorine containing groups by at least one alkylene group having 2-8 carbon atoms and by at least one oxygen atom in addition to the oxygen on the oxyvinyl. In general the compounds of the invention have the generic formula:Rz(L).sub.a (Ry).sub.b OROCH.dbd.CH.sub.2.Where L is .dbd.CHCOOROCH.dbd.CH.sub.2 ; a is number of 0 to about 1; R.sub.y is --CO--; b is a number of 0 to about 1; R is cycloalkane or (CH.sub.2).sub.x --, where x is a number of about 2 through about 10; R.sub.z is R.sub.f C.sub.n H.sub.m where R.sub.f is a fluorinated alkylene moiety of about 1 to about 12 carbon atoms which may be linear or branch chained and may contain a further --OROCH.dbd.CH.sub.2 group; n is an integer of about 1 through about 6; and m is an integer of n to 2n. The compounds are suitable for use in optical devices such as fibers and waveguides, are readily radiation curable and curable by other means, and can be formulated to be of low viscosity when applied. The compounds are also suited for coatings, inks and adhesive and other applications. The invention includes methods for preparing and using the compounds and products employing the compounds. Intermediates to prepare the compounds and methods to prepare the intermediates are also included.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a data collection and evaluation system that includes a telematics device for collecting, time-stamping, and storing vehicle sensor data. Examples of the type of data collected include door data, ignition data, speed data, global positioning data, and diagnostic and trouble code data. The system further includes an external data acquisition device, such as a mainframe computer system or a hand-held computing device like an iPAQ. The external data acquisition device is configured to communicate with the telematics device over a wireless network, which enables the telematics device to transmit the time-stamped data to the external data acquisition device and receive information and instructions from the external data acquisition device. The ability of the system to automatically collect and transfer data and communicate with an external data acquisition device allows for the automation of fleet management processes, vehicle maintenance and repair processes, and certain security features.

    摘要: The invention involves reading RFID transponders affixed to items by rotating the items as they are exposed to an RFID reader as may be incorporated in a normal processing, manufacturing or shipping process such as wrapping items in a protective membrane using a system that includes a commercially-available pallet wrapper adapted to be controlled by computer, and with an RFID transponder reading device mounted to the carriage device of the pallet wrapper. The computer interfaces with a programmable logic controller that controls the pallet wrapper and the RFID reader. The computer causes a predetermined number of wraps of the shipping membrane to be wrapped around a portion of items and the pallet to secure the items to the pallet. The RFID tags on the items on the pallet are read as the items rotate near the fixed RFID reader that is mounted to a carriage holding the shipping membrane.

    摘要: Amid their enormous biologic diversity, we have discovered a new group of evolutionarily modified SAgs, SEG-SEI, that in partnership with endogenous SEG-SEI retain the ability to generate anti-tumor T effector cell devoid of the cytokine-mediated toxicity. Such toxicity has hampered the effective use of canonical SAgs for human cancer treatment. For their MHCII partner, we selected the human HLA-DQ8 allele and show that its contact with SEG-SEI is obligatory for the anti-tumor effect. Here we further show that SEG-SEI collaborate with HLA-DQ8 alleles to expand, differentiate, and chemotactically recruit a tumor neoantigen-primed tumor reactive T cell population that propagates both an acute tumoricidal response and long-term T-cell memory/survival.
