Abstract: A drive circuit drives a switch configuring a power converter. The drive circuit divides an inter-terminal voltage of a switch. The drive circuit includes a differential circuit having first and second input terminals to which the divided inter-terminal voltages are inputted. The differential circuit outputs an analog voltage based on a voltage difference between the input terminals. The differential circuit executes reset of the output voltage, and with the voltage difference when reset is canceled after reset is executed as a reference voltage, outputs an analog voltage in which an amount of change from the reference voltage is multiplied by an amplification factor. The drive circuit outputs a binary signal based on comparison results between a threshold and the analog voltage outputted from the differential circuit, and sets a transfer rate of a gate charge of the switch when a driving state is switched, based on the output signal thereof.

Abstract: A controller of a rotating electric machine performs a control on a control amount of the rotating electric machine by (a) calculating a voltage instruction value for controlling the control amount based on voltage detection values of the shunt resistors when shunt resistors in at least two phases have an electric current flowing therein, and (b) performing a drive control of each of switches in an inverter based on the calculated voltage instruction value. The controller determines whether a phase current flowing in a winding is detectable in at least two of three phases based on voltage values of the shunt resistors, and, when determining that the phase current is not detectable in the at least two phases, the controller performs the drive control based on a past current value or a past voltage value in a two-phase rotating coordinate system of the rotating electric machine.

Abstract: A controller of a rotating electric machine includes a current detector detecting a voltage of each of shunt resistors in at least two phases from among the shunt resistors in three phases during an electric current flowing period in which the shunt resistors in the at least two phases have an electric current flowing therein; and a signal generator setting a switching mode of each of switches forming an inverter for controlling an estimated angular velocity to an instruction angular velocity based on the detected voltage. The signal generator sets a switching mode to flow the electric current in the shunt resistors in the at least two phases during at least part of one half of a modulation cycle of control of the estimated angular velocity.

Abstract: In a current detection apparatus, an arm current detection unit detects each of at least first and second phase currents having respective amplitudes and flowing in a multiphase rotary electric machine based on a potential difference between input and output terminals of the corresponding one of first and second detection switches during the corresponding one of the first and second detection switches being on. A bus current detection unit detects each of at least bus-based first and second phase currents corresponding to the first and second phases of the multiphase rotary electric machine based on a current flowing through one of first and second buses. An amplitude correction unit corrects the first and second phase currents based on the bus-based first and second phase currents such that the amplitudes of the respective first and second phase currents match with each other.

Abstract: In a drive circuit, a differential circuit unit is configured such that resetting of an output voltage of the differential circuit unit is carried out, and the resetting of the output voltage of the differential circuit unit is cancelled. A value of the difference between first and second divided terminal voltages at a timing of cancelling the resetting is defined as a reference voltage. The differential circuit unit generates, as the output voltage, a product of a voltage change from a reference voltage and a predetermined amplification factor after cancelling of the resetting of the differential circuit unit. A signal generator generates a gate signal for the upper- and lower-arm switches in accordance with a value of the output voltage of the differential circuit unit while the upper- and lower-arm switches are in an off state.

Abstract: A control apparatus for is a rotating electric machine applied to a control system including a power conversion circuit, a rotating electric machine, and a capacitor. The control apparatus selects two types of active voltage vectors that sandwich a command voltage vector that is applied to a rotating electric machine from a power conversion circuit and have a phase difference of 60 degrees therebetween. The control apparatus selects, of two types of active voltage vectors that sandwich the command voltage vector and have a phase difference of 120 degrees therebetween, one of two types of active voltage vectors that differs from the two types of active voltage vectors selected earlier, based on a driving state of the rotating electric machine. The control apparatus controls the power conversion apparatus to perform switching operations to control the rotating electric machine, based on the selected three types of active voltage vectors.

The corrector corrects at least target first and second phase currents detected by a first current detector based on the obtained first current-value pairs and the second current-value pairs to thereby align amplitudes of the respective target first and second phase currents with each other.
