    摘要: A self-sealing elastomer composition that can be used especially as a puncture-resistant layer in an inflatable article, comprising: as predominant elastomer, an unsaturated diene elastomer; a thermoplastic hydrocarbon plasticizer resin with a weight content of between 30 and 90 phr; a liquid plasticizer, the Tg (glass transition temperature) of which is below −20° C., with a weight content between 0 and 60 phr; and 0 to less than 30 phr of a filler. Also disclosed is an article such as a tire provided with the puncture-resistant layer comprising the self-sealing elastomer composition. The puncture-resistant layer is advantageously combined with an airtight layer, for example based on butyl rubber, so as to form, in the inflatable article, a puncture-resistant airtight laminate.

    摘要: A tyre, which has an improved grip on wet ground, includes a tread formed of at least a rubber composition. The rubber composition includes: from 50 to 100 phr of a copolymer based on styrene and butadiene, e.g., a styrene/butadiene copolymer (SBR), with phr referring to parts by weight per hundred parts of elastomer; from 100 to 150 phr of a reinforcing inorganic filler, e.g., silica; and a plasticizing system. The plasticizing system includes: a content A of between 10 and 60 phr of a thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin exhibiting a Tg of greater than 20° C.; and a content B of between 10 and 60 phr of a liquid plasticizing agent. A total content A+B is greater than 50 phr. Optionally, the rubber composition includes from 0 to 50 phr of another copolymer, e.g., a diene elastomer such as a polybutadiene or natural rubber.

    摘要: A tire tread includes a plurality of elements in relief (rib and/or block) having lateral faces, and a contact face intended to come into contact with the roadway during travel. The intersection of each lateral face with the contact face forms a ridge. The tread also includes a plurality of cutouts each defined by opposing main faces. Each tread pattern element is formed with at least one base mix. As viewed in section in a plane containing the thickness of this tread, at least one face defining at least one cutout is formed at least in part with a covering mix. The base mix exhibits a gripping action on wet ground which is lower than a gripping action of the covering mix on the same ground.
