    Abstract: Prosthetic valves that include support arms extending from support posts thereof, and methods for utilizing such prosthetic valves, are disclosed herein. As one example, a prosthetic valve can include an annular frame movable between a radially compressed state and a radially expanded state, and at least one support arm. The frame can include a plurality of support posts, each extending between a post inflow end and an opposite post outflow end. The support arm can extend from a corresponding support post, and terminate at a free-ended tip which is biased radially away from the corresponding support post.

    Abstract: An implantable prosthetic device can include a frame movable between a radially compressed configuration and a radially expanded configuration, and a valvular structure. The frame can have an inflow orifice, an outflow orifice, and one or more commissure windows. The valvular structure can include a plurality of leaflets, each leaflet having a main body with an inflow edge, an outflow edge, and a pair of opposing tabs. Each tab can be paired with an adjacent tab of an adjacent leaflet to form a commissure tab assembly, and each commissure tab assembly being coupled to a respective commissure window. Each tab can extend from the main body at an angle such that a radially outer edge of the tab corresponds to a draft angle of the frame.

    Abstract: A prosthetic heart valve can include a radially expandable and compressible annular frame, a valvular structure, and a commissure cover. The frame can include a plurality of struts defining the annular frame, and a plurality of commissure support structures each defining a commissure opening positioned along a circumference of the annular frame. The valvular structure can be mounted within the frame, the valvular structure including a plurality of commissures each extending radially through a respective commissure opening to attach the valvular structure to the frame, each commissure having an outflow edge that extends from a radial outer surface of the frame. The commissure cover can be disposed at least partially over the outflow edge of the commissure and can define a ramped surface that extends from the radial outer surface of the frame to a radial outer surface of the commissure.

    Abstract: A prosthetic heart valve can include a radially expandable and compressible frame and a valvular structure. The frame can include a plurality of circumferentially spaced axial struts, a plurality of pairs of axial posts, and a plurality of rows of angled struts. Each pair of axial posts can be positioned circumferentially between two axial struts. The plurality of rows can include at least a first row, a second row downstream of the first row, a third row downstream of the second row, and a fourth row downstream of the third row. Each of the angled struts can be connected at one end to one of the axial struts and at another end to one of the axial posts. The angled struts of the first and fourth rows can be shorter than the struts of the second and third rows.

    Abstract: This disclosure is directed to prosthetic heart valves and frames for prosthetic heart valves having actuation assemblies with at least two bolts coupled to each other. The actuation assembly with at least two bolts allow different portions of the actuation assembly to be designed to meet different needs. In one example, the actuation mechanism can include a first bolt coupled end-to-end with a second bolt. The second bolt can have a greater diameter and correspondingly greater mechanical strength than the first bolt. The first bolt can have a lesser diameter suitable for minimizing the thickness of surrounding and adjacent valve frame components. The actuation assembly can also include one or more of a nut, a washer, and a portion designed to attach to components of a delivery system. Also disclosed herein are actuation assemblies including a washer secured by a pin extending through the bolt of the actuation assembly.

    Abstract: A prosthetic heart valve includes a frame having an inflow end, an outflow end, and a central portion. The frame is radially expandable from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration. The inflow end includes a plurality of first strut members having a first strut width and forming a first angle between adjacent first strut members, and the central portion includes a plurality of second strut members having a second strut width and forming a second angle between adjacent second strut members. A plurality of leaflets are positioned within the frame. At least one of the first angle and the second angle, or the first strut width and the second strut width, are different such that when the prosthetic heart valve is crimped onto a cylindrical balloon and expanded using the cylindrical balloon, a diameter of the outflow end is different from a diameter of the central portion.
