Abstract:
A light source device includes: a plurality of light emitting elements that emit laser light; and a wavelength selective element that includes a light selective region functioning as a resonator mirror of the light emitting element by selecting light of predetermined selective wavelength from the laser light emitted from one of the light emitting elements and reflecting the selected light toward the light emitting element while allowing the remaining laser light to pass therethrough, and a base member having a plurality of the light selective regions so that the wavelengths of the light selected by the light selective regions are different from each other.

Abstract:
The sizes of the respective reflecting units vary in the image take-out section along the Z direction in association with the state of the total reflection angle in the light guide section. Thus, it becomes possible to keep the sufficient effective light beam width of the image light input thereto in all of the reflecting units. Therefore, the deterioration in the image light caused by the reflection in the reflecting units can be avoided, and as a result, the degradation of the resolution of the image due to the virtual image light thus emitted can be prevented.
Abstract:
A virtual image display device has a light guide device in which the half mirror layer (the semi-transmissive reflecting film) of the light guide member is formed on the partial area of the first junction surface, and the second junction surface of the light transmitting member is bonded to the first junction surface in at least the exceptional area. Therefore, it is possible to increase the bonding strength of the first junction surface and the second junction surface, namely the strength of the light guide device composed of the light guide member and the light transmitting member combined with each other even in the case in which the attachment force of the half mirror layer (the semi-transmissive reflecting film) with respect to the first junction surface is not sufficiently strong.

A voltage-detecting circuit includes a flying capacitor; a first switch circuit allowing plural electric cells connected in series, so that polarity of voltage across electrodes of the flying capacitor charged by one of the electric cells is opposite to polarity of voltage across the electrodes of the flying capacitor charged by an adjacent one of the electric cells; a second switch circuit discharging the flying capacitor; an output circuit outputting a signal depending on the voltage across the flying capacitor; a shield arranged around the flying capacitor electrodes to substantially equalize parasitic capacitances between the shield and each of the electrodes; and a voltage-controlling circuit equalizing voltage between one of the electrodes of the flying capacitor and the shield when charging the flying capacitor, with voltage between another one of the electrodes of the flying capacitor and the shield when discharging the flying capacitor.

A connector etc. that prevents wrong insertion and does not require large rotation of plug etc., when inserting a plug to a socket, is provided. Plug-in connector 1 comprises pin plug 10 and receptacle 20, and pin plug 10 and receptacle 20 are connected. On pin cover body 14 of pin plug 10, plural pin plug key protrusions 15 are constructed separately along the circumferential direction, and on socket cover 27 of receptacle 20, plural sets 28a-28e of plural key grooves 28 separated along the circumferential direction, that plural pin plug key protrusions 15 fit into each set, are arranged with shifting along the circumferential direction. Receptacle 20 can be substituted by a socket plug 30.

An image display apparatus employing a laser beam source includes: a light modulating unit that modulates a laser beam emitted from the laser beam source into image light representing an image; and a driving-signal generating unit that generates, on the basis of an image signal of a frame image updated at a fixed first period, a driving signal for driving the light modulating unit. The driving-signal generating unit periodically inserts a noise image in the driving signal while maintaining timing for updating display of the frame image at the first period.
