摘要: The invention relates to a thermal printer and a printing method thereby, using a step motor for feeding a sheet of paper, a scanning type thermal head and a control unit by which the paper feeding operation is temporarily stopped and the printing operation is restarted after the stopped period. This thermal printer further comprises a delay drive unit which drives the thermal head with delay of one or two clock periods, predetermined as a control parameter for this printing operation, by a phase switch timing point for the step motor, in response to the time-lag defined by the phase switch timing point to an actual paper feeding motion; and a pre-print unit which outputs a command signal to begin the printing operation of the thermal head for printing one or more times the print data which follows the final print data of when the paper feeding operation was stopped, prior to the above described regular drive operation of the thermal head at the restart of the printing operation. Whereby this thermal printer can provide a high quality print without any print gaps and unclear prints due to the interruption of the printing operation.

摘要: In a printer comprising a printing means for performing printing on a continuous paper in response to a print data and a cutter unit for cutting the continuous paper in the paper width direction upon completion of printing, a printed paper needs to be sorted out easily and clearly depending on jobs. To meet the demand, the printer is provided with a rotary blade and a fixed blade which cut the continuous paper in the paper width direction which crosses perpendicularly to the paper feed direction and it is further provided with a carriage for holding the rotary blade so as to be movable in the paper width direction. The carriage has a shading piece. Sensors are disposed at the position corresponding to the position where the cutting amount of the paper in the paper width direction is set to be smaller than the entire paper width. When the sensors detect the shading piece, the rotary blade stops moving to thereby stop the cutting operation. As a result, the cutting operation with leaving uncut portion at one side of the paper in the paper width direction is performed depending on each job so that the cut papers range per job unit whereby the printed paper of one job is not mixed with other printed papers of other jobs and they can be easily distinguished from one another without resorting to a stacker.

摘要: An X-ray computerized tomographic (CT) apparatus capable of facilitating alignment of focal spot position at the time of replacing an X-ray tube anew and capable of easily correcting the focal spot position even when the focal spot position of the X-ray tube is deviated. Thereby, the focal spot position of the X-ray tube remains fixed in a predetermined position. The X-ray computerized tomographic (CT) apparatus includes an X-ray tube which is freely movable in at least one of a horizontal direction and a vertical direction; a detection unit for detecting a dislocated degree of the focal spot position of the X-ray tube; and a controlling unit for automatically controlling the focal spot position of the X-ray tube based on data obtained from the detection unit so that the focal spot position of the X-ray tube remains fixed in a predetermined position. In a case where the CT apparatus is used for a helical scanning operation, the detection unit may further include a detection timing controller for controlling an instance of detection and alignment of the focal spot position by utilizing only an output of the X-ray amount detected at a predetermined position of a gantry.
