摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a control method of a high-pressure fuel supply pump and a high-pressure fuel supply pump using the same capable of effectively reducing noise generated when an electromagnetic suction valve is opened. This can be realized such that, in a control method of a high-pressure fuel supply pump including a suction valve disposed on the suction side of the pressurizing chamber, a rod for urging the suction valve toward the opening valve direction, and an anchor for moving the rod in the closing valve direction with attraction by magnetic attraction caused by a solenoid being energized, when the anchor moves in the opening valve direction, a first drive current is passed through the solenoid for a predetermined period of time, and thereafter a second drive current larger than the first drive current is passed through the solenoid for a predetermined period of time.

The high-pressure fuel pump includes a metal damper, a pump body in which a damper housing that houses the metal damper is formed, a damper cover attached to the pump body, covering the damper housing, and holding the metal damper between the pump body and the damper cover, and a holding member fixed to the damper cover and holding the metal damper from a side opposite to the damper cover. The holding member is provided with an elastic portion that urges the pump body so that the metal damper is urged toward the damper cover.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to obtain a high pressure fuel supply pump capable of reducing pressure pulsation that occurs in a low pressure pipe, preventing damage to the low pressure pipe, or reducing noise due to vibrations of the low pressure pipe. The present invention provides a high pressure fuel supply pump of a type in which, from a fuel suction port connected to a low pressure pipe provided upstream of a fuel, a low pressure passage, an electromagnetic suction valve driven by an electromagnetic force, a pressurizing chamber in which the volume thereof is increased or reduced by a plunger that is reciprocatingly moved by being guided by a cylinder, and a discharge valve provided at an outlet of the pressurizing chamber are sequentially arranged, a fuel is sucked to the pressurizing chamber through the electromagnetic suction valve, the amount of a part of the fuel, which is sucked to the pressurizing chamber, to be returned to the low pressure passage side is adjusted so that the amount of the fuel to be discharged through the discharge valve is controlled, and the high pressure fuel supply pump includes a backflow suppression mechanism for suppressing backflow of fuel from the fuel from the fuel suction portion to the low pressure pipe side.

摘要: Provided is a high-pressure fuel supply pump capable of arranging a relief valve mechanism inside a pump body while suppressing an increase in size and an increase in manufacturing cost. Therefore, a high-pressure fuel supply pump of the present invention includes: a plunger that changes a volume of a pressurizing chamber by reciprocating an inside of a cylinder; a first hole formed from an outer circumferential surface of a pump body toward an inner circumferential side; a relief valve mechanism arranged in the first hole; and a second hole that returns fuel in a flow path on a discharge side of a discharge valve pressurized in the pressurizing chamber to a damper chamber or a plunger seal chamber communicating with the damper chamber when the relief valve mechanism opens in communication with the first hole. At least a part of the relief valve mechanism arranged in the first hole is arranged on the pressurizing chamber side with respect to the uppermost end portion on the pressurizing chamber side of the cylinder.

摘要: To increase a valve-opening pressure at which a pressure relief valve is opened in order to deal with a higher pressure of the fuel, a large pressure relief valve is installed in a high-pressure fuel supply pump. This upsizes the high-pressure fuel supply pump. A pressure relief valve is installed in a discharge joint. This can provide a high-pressure fuel supply pump that is not large too much and sufficiently performs a relief function by efficiently using the excessive space in the pump even when the fuel pressure is increased.

A fuel supply pump includes a plunger that reciprocates in an inner peripheral portion of a cylinder, and a pressurizing chamber that is pressurized by the plunger. An annular groove is formed on an outer periphery of the plunger. The annular groove is located closer to the pressurizing chamber than an axial center position of a cylinder sliding region at the bottom dead center position.
