Abstract: A vehicle power supply system includes a high-voltage battery pack that has a battery housing and a battery cell provided in the battery housing. A PRA is electrically connected to the battery cell. A first battery connector is provided at one side of the battery housing, a connecting member electrically connects the power relay assembly and the first battery connector, and a second battery connector is electrically connected to the power relay assembly and provided at the other side of the battery housing. A first junction box is electrically connected to a first power electronic module of a vehicle and has a first junction box connector. A first battery connecting cable electrically connects the first junction box connector and the first battery connector. A second battery connecting cable electrically connects the second battery connector and a second power electronic module of the vehicle.

Abstract: A system for charging a vehicle battery includes a relay configured to establish/interrupt electrical connection between the vehicle battery and a vehicle system supplied with power from the vehicle battery, and a controller. The controller is configured to monitor a voltage of the battery, control the relay to interrupt the electrical connection when a voltage of the battery is less than or equal to a first predetermined reference value, and control the relay to establish the electrical connection when a predetermined condition is satisfied while the relay is electrically disconnected. The controller controls the relay to be electrically connected to charge the battery through an external power source while the electrical connection is interrupted, and then control a connection state of the relay based on the voltage of the battery, a voltage and current of the relay at a side of the vehicle system, and whether a vehicle is started.

Abstract: A battery management system for a vehicle is provided. The system is capable of preventing vehicle malfunction by preventing overcharge and over-discharge of a low-voltage battery by providing a controller that is configured to receive power transmitted from a first connection line and power transmitted from a second connection line. The battery management system includes a relay configured to electrically connect and disconnect power that is supplied from a battery to loads. The system also includes a controller configured to receive a first regular power transmitted through a connection line between the battery and the relay and a second regular power transmitted through a connection line between the relay and the loads. The controller is further configured to turn the relay on and off.
