    摘要： A resin made base body in the form of a pipe has (1) a plurality of alternating projections and depressions which are provided on an outer peripheral surface of the pipe and aligned in substantially parallel rows in one of an axial direction and a circumferential direction of the pipe; (2) a specular gloss at 60° of a surface of the pipe in a range of 15 to 25; or (3) a skin layer formed in an outer peripheral portion in the thickness direction of a peripheral wall of the pipe, wherein an amount of the conductive agent present in the skin layer is equal to, or less than, one-tenth an amount of the conductive agent present in a central portion in the thickness direction of the peripheral wall of the pipe.

The cylindrical base for the photosensitive drum has good surface smoothness as well as good mechanical strength, and it can be obtained easily by injection molding or the like from said resin composition.
