摘要： An apparatus for recording and/or reproducing video signals on a magnetic tape wherein a capstan and driving motor are coupled by a belt for driving the tape. The motor is connected to a power supply circuit through a switching circuit and voltage is applied from the switching circuit to the motor for driving the belt and therewith the tape. The motor driving voltage application time is controlled to be substantially equal to an integer multiple of the reciprocal of the resonance frequency of the belt driving system.

摘要： Provided is a liquid feed apparatus for feeding liquid by operating a diaphragm at a high frequency, in which an inlet valve and an outlet valve are integrally incorporated with a liquid feed chamber, the positions of the valve are shifted into peripheral parts of the liquid feed chamber so as to allow fluid to smoothly flow from the inlet to the outlet in order to prevent air bubbles from causing pressure fluctuation during liquid feed, from remaining in the liquid feed chamber. Further, the valve has a center beam structure in which a protrusion having a height greater than several micron meters, is formed in the seat part of the valve so as to deform a center beam for pressurizing the valve in order to enhance the shut-off ability of the valve, and the center beam has a small surface area in the direction of displacement of the valve.

摘要： A chemical analyzer for measuring a concentration of components of a sample liquid, by mixing the sample liquid with reagents, so as to react the reagents upon the components thereof. The chemical analyzer includes a carrier which is constructed on a substrate and has an introducing portion through which the sample liquid is injected, distributing flow passages for distributing the sample liquid injected from the introducing portion, and plural reactor portions, each holding the sample liquid therein to be mixed with the reagent, thereby to react. A movable driver portion is provided for mounting the carrier thereon, and a reagent charging device is provided for ejecting the reagents, which are different for the respective reactor portions of the carrier. Further, a detector is provided for detecting the components after mixing the reagents with the sample liquid.

摘要： Composite particles formed from resin particles and silica particles (amount of silica particles: 0.2 to 10 wt. % on the basis of the resin particles) in an apparatus for formation of composite particles are placed in a PTFE mold and heat treated to weld the resin particles to one another, thereby forming a structural element, which is dipped in an ethyl silicate solution containing monodispersed silica particles, then taken out of the solution and subjected to further heat treatment to form an ultimate structural element, which is sealed in a tip case, whereby a tip can be produced at a low cost and used to separate nucleic acid from a liquid sample for a short time at a high recovery rate without any defects such as breaking, etc.

摘要： The present invention provides a sorter system wherein sorters that can perform sorting operations such as destination and delivery sorting operations and sequencing operations such as a carrier route sequencing operation for sheets with sorting information attached thereto as required can be configured. Transfer devices are coupled to sorting information readers means for reading sorting information from sheets transferred by transfer devices. A plurality of sorters for loading the sheets therein according to the sorting information read by the sorting information readers are coupled to the transfer devices in such a way that any number of sorters can be added or removed from said sorters as required. This invention can provide a sorter system capable of expanding sorting and sequencing functions, and also reduce costs and a required installation space.

摘要： A hydrodynamic grooved bearing device in which a shaft is inserted into a hole formed in a bearing housing and one of the shaft and bearing housing is rotated, thereby the rotated member being supported includes a plurality of grooves formed on the shaft or an inner peripheral surface of the bearing housing for generating a dynamic pressure of fluid filled between the shaft and the bearing housing. The plurality of grooves are arranged side by side with a substantially certain pitch in a direction of rotation. Each of the grooves comprises a pair of groove portions slanted relative to the direction of rotation such that a distance between the pair of groove portions becomes narrower towards the direction of rotation and a connecting groove portion connecting the narrowest distance between the slanted groove portions. The connecting groove portion is extended in a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of rotation. The provision of the dynamic pressure generating grooves enables a high bearing load and a stable bearing performance with a minimum degree of whirling compared with conventional V-grooved bearing.

摘要： An automatic tape threading device for a magnetic recording and reproducing system wherein a leading tape member of a width larger than that of a magnetic tape for threading the magnetic tape in a cartridge through a path of travel of the magnetic tape including the outer circumference of a drum mounting a rotary magnetic head includes a joint member connected to one end portion of the magnetic tape in the cartridge and another joint member connected to one end portion of the leading tape member. The two joint members are brought into engagement with each other conjointly with the attaching of the cartridge to the magnetic recording and reproducing system, and then a takeup reel is actuated to withdraw the magnetic tape from the cartridge through the leading tape member, so as to thereby thread the magnetic tape through the path of travel of the magnetic tape.
