摘要: A fluid supply assembly includes a tank configured for holding a fluid and a pump configured to draw the fluid from the tank, wherein the tank includes a recess and the pump is mounted to the tank in the recess. The pump may be connected to the tank along either, or both of, a first and/or a second surface of the recess, wherein the first surface and the second surface may be orthogonal to one another. The fluid supply assembly may further include a header disposed on a horizontal surface of the tank, the header may include at least a portion thereof which extends into an interior of the tank, wherein the pump may draw the fluid from the tank via the header.

In another aspect a combustion engine exhaust after treatment system is disclosed including such a mount and at least two exhaust gas after treatment components chosen from the group including a particle filter (PF), a muffler, a heat source for PF regeneration, a Selective Catalytic Reductor (SCR) and a mixing chamber, at least one of the components being positioned in the first mounting position and the at least one other component being positioned in the second mounting position, fluidly connected to the first component.

摘要: An exhaust aftertreatment system including a housing with two or more inlets configured to receive separate entering exhaust streams from an engine. The system may include two or more first exhaust treatment devices, each configured to receive one of the separate entering exhaust streams in a first direction. The system may further include two or more redirecting flow passages configured to combine the separate exhaust streams into a merged exhaust stream that flows in a second direction about 180 degrees from the first direction and an intermediate flow region configured to divide the merged exhaust stream into two or more separate exiting exhaust streams. The system also may also includes two or more second exhaust treatment devices, each configured to receive one of the separate exiting exhaust streams in a third direction about 90 degrees from the second direction.

摘要: An emissions control system is disclosed. The emissions control system may have a first exhaust treatment device. The emissions control system may also have an end cap defining a mixing chamber connected to an end of the first exhaust treatment device. The mixing chamber may be configured to promote mixing between a flow of exhaust received from the first exhaust treatment device and a reductant. The emissions control system may further have a second exhaust treatment device configured to receive the flow of exhaust and reductant after it passes through the mixing chamber.

The method may also include selecting one or more input parameters based on the common variables and one or more output parameters based on the objectives; and updating the data records to generate desired data records indicative characteristics of the one or more input parameters and the one or more output parameters. Further, the method may include generating a computational model indicative of interrelationships between the one or more input parameters and the one or more output parameters based on the data records; and providing a set of constraints to the computational model representative of a design of the product.

摘要: An aftertreatment module for use with an engine is disclosed. The aftertreatment module may have a plurality of inlets configured to direct exhaust in a first flow direction into the aftertreatment module. The aftertreatment module may also have a mixing duct configured to receive exhaust from the plurality of inlets, and a branching passage in fluid communication with the mixing duct. The branching passage may be configured to redirect exhaust from the mixing duct into separate flows that exit the aftertreatment module in a second flow direction opposite the first flow direction.
