    摘要: A plug-in pump, which is controlled by a beveled edge, is inserted in a pump installation bore of the internal combustion engine with the aid of an adjusting arrangement and ensures a uniform feed quantity in all plug-in pumps of an engine without subsequent feed quantity adjustment. When the feed quantity adjusting element is fixed in the testing position, the plug-in pump, which is inserted in the test base, is rotated until the feed quantity corresponds to the desired feed quantity and a positioning peg of the adjusting arrangement, which is supported in the flange of the plug-in pump and received by a recess in the test base, is adjusted and fixed in this rotational position. When the control rod of the engine is blocked in the basic testing position, a positioning groove (33) of an adjusting plate (32) of the adjusting arrangement is put into a corresponding rotational position by means of a pump dummy.

    摘要: An rpm governor for fuel injection engines whose function is to raise the idle rpm for a predetermined time period while the engine is cold in order to guarantee a clean idle running cycle of the engine. The rpm governor includes a compensating device having a thermostat which is designed to engage an idling spring and whose duration of engagement is determined by a heating device located on the thermostat. When the engine is cold, the tension in the spring is raised by the compensating device, thus effecting a higher rpm level, which rpm level is later reduced to normal idle when the governor has reached an operational temperature upon the passage of a predetermined period after cold starting.

    摘要: The injection pump includes a pump cylinder, a pump piston moving into it and a hydraulic device for adjusting the instant of injection. The adjusting device has an adjusting cylinder, which is directed parallel to the pump cylinder and is accommodated in the housing of the injection pump, and adjusting piston and a restoring spring and adjusts a control sleeve, which opens the pump piston provided with at least one control recess in the longitudinal direction of the pump piston. This orientation and disposition of the adjusting cylinder effects a space-saving and inexpensive design of the injection pump and improves the precision of adjustment. The adjusting piston and the control sleeve may be directed coaxially and embodied as a single component, as a result of which a further space saving and increase in adjustment precision are attained.

    摘要: The fuel injection quantity of a fuel injection apparatus provided with a fuel injection pump is electrically regulated by means of the opening duration of a metering valve. Additionally, a shift in the instant of supply onset controlled in accordance with operating characteristics is attained by means of a change in the return-flow fuel quantity, which is diverted into a refill reservoir and then refilled completely into the pump work chamber by the beginning of the next subsequent injection stroke. Serving as the sole connection between the refill reservoir and a pump work chamber is an overflow conduit, which is opened by two control locations on the pump piston at the end of a supply and shortly prior to the bottom dead center. Both the pump cylinder with the pressure valve and the refill reservoir and the metering valve are inserted in a leak-fuel-proof manner in a cylinder head of the pump housing, which is embodied in two parts. The decreased idle volume, the reduction of possible leakage points, and the complete refilling of the return-flow fuel quantity assure that the fuel injection quantity is determined unequivocally by the opening duration of the metering valves.

    摘要: A fuel injection system for mixture compressing, externally ignited internal combustion engines includes a fuel distributing unit having a plurality of fuel metering valves, and a plurality of pressure valves. The pressure valves are disposed in the fuel flow path between their respective fuel metering valve and their associated fuel injection valve. Each of the pressure valves includes a space which is divided into first and second chambers by a flexible member. At least one of the pressure valves is embodied as an equal pressure valve, and at least one of the pressure valves is embodied as a differential pressure control valve. The pressure in the second chamber of the differential pressure control valve is the pressure prevailing upstream of the fuel metering valves, and the first chamber of the differential pressure control valve communicates with the second chamber of each of the equal pressure valves so that the pressures therein are equal. Fuel metering occurs at a constant pressure difference.

    摘要: A pneumatic diaphragm control member is proposed for a fuel injection device for internal combustion engines, especially for a boost-pressure dependent full-load stop, wherein the initial and end positions of a push rod provided with a control diaphragm and movable against a resetting spring can be varied, and wherein the effective pressure range is variable by means of separate adjusting means which do not affect one another. The push rod of the diaphragm control member contacts, in the unpressurized starting position, a stop screw mounted in the lid cover, and, in the pressurized end position, is in contact, by means of a counter stop attached to an extension of the push rod and adjustable in the direction of motion of the push rod, with a second end stop arranged in the pressure chamber. Thus, the bias of the resetting spring can be changed by changing the position of a bearing bushing for the push rod, which bushing serves as an abutment.
