    Abstract: There is provided a positive type photosensitive paste composition for a plasma display panel (PDP) electrode, including a conductive powder, an inorganic binder, and a photosensitive vehicle. The photosensitive vehicle includes an organic binder represented by formula (1), a photoacid generator, a solvent, and other additives: where R1 is H or CH3; R2 is a saturated or unsaturated C1-C6 alkyl group or a C1-C6 group containing an ether group, a carbonyl group or an ester group; R3 is a group having a hydroxyl group; R4 is hydrogen or a group having a carboxylic group; and R5 is a protecting group. Further embodiments provide a film prepared with such a paste; as well as a PDP electrode prepared with such a paste and a PDP having one or more such electrodes.

    Abstract: A photosensitive paste composition for forming a black layer on top of plasma display panel (PDP) barrier ribs includes black pigment nanoparticles for contrast enhancement and a cyclic acid anhydride for fundamentally preventing the gelation of the paste composition. The photosensitive paste composition prevents electrical or optical crosstalk between adjacent discharge cells to achieve better contrast. The fundamental prevention of the gelation of the paste composition permits the paste composition to have good storage stability.

    Abstract: An organic light emitting display and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, the display includes i) a first substrate, ii) a second substrate facing the first substrate and iii) a display unit formed between the first and second substrates and comprising organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs).     Abstract: A laser beam irradiation apparatus irradiates a laser beam onto a sealing unit disposed between a first substrate and a second substrate so as to seal the first substrate and the second substrate. A center portion of the laser beam comprises a first beam profile having a beam intensity which increases toward a beam center portion, and a center of each of a plurality of peripheral portions of the laser beam is included in an area onto which the first beam profile is irradiated. The plurality of peripheral portions are symmetrically distributed around the first beam profile, and comprise a plurality of second beam profiles having the same beam intensities. The first beam profile and the plurality of second beam profiles are symmetrically distributed around a center point of the first beam profile and move in synchronization with one another.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display (LCD) device includes: a liquid crystal panel; a plurality of fluorescent lamps disposed under the liquid crystal panel, supplying light to the liquid crystal panel, and having electrodes provided at both ends thereof; a balance printed circuit board (PCB) disposed at both ends of the plurality of fluorescent lamps and including a clip fastened to be electrically connected with the electrodes of the fluorescent lamps; a power supply line printed on the balance PCB so as to be electrically connected to the clip and supplying power to the electrodes of the fluorescent lamps; a first voltage induction line printed with a first area on the balance PCB at a first interval from the power supply line; a second voltage induction line printed with a second area on the balance PCB at a second interval from the power supply line; and a light emitting diode (LED) mounted on the balance PCB and having an anode connected to the first voltage induction line and a cathode connected to the second voltage induction line, wherein the first area is larger than the second area, the first interval is smaller than the second interval, the power supply line and the first voltage induction line form a first capacitor, and the power supply line and the second voltage induction line form a second capacitor.
