A kit for implanting an artificial disc in an intervertebral space of a human body includes site preparation instruments, artificial disc insertion instruments, and a midline marker for guiding the artificial disc insertion instruments into a prepared intervertebral space. Also included are a verification instrument, a midline marker, a midline marker insertion instrument, an endplate shaping device, a distraction instrument, a trial insertion instrument, an endplate insertion instrument, a core insertion instrument, and a trial spacer head.

摘要: An attachment mechanism for a surgical instrument is provided which includes a receiving component having a longitudinal axis, a modular tip configured to be coupled in a rigid manner to the receiving component in two or less orientations, and a locking mechanism for securing the tip to the receiving component. A method for attaching a modular tip to a surgical instrument is also provided that includes actuating a locking mechanism, inserting a mating component of a modular tip into a receiving component by moving the mating component in a direction substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the receiving component, or by rotating the mating component relative to the receiving component, or a combination thereof, and releasing the locking mechanism to secure the tip to the receiving component.

摘要: An intervertebral disc prosthesis comprises a first prosthesis component, a second prosthesis component, and an intermediate prosthesis component positioned between the first prosthesis component and the second prosthesis component. The first prosthesis component and second prosthesis component are configured to rotate upon the intermediate prosthesis component. The first prosthesis component includes a vertebra facing surface with a central channel formed in the vertebra facing surface. The central channel is designed and dimensioned to engage an insertion arm of a disc insertion tool. The first prosthesis component also includes at least one indentation configured to engage at least one retention arm of the disc insertion tool. The at least one indentation of the first prosthesis component may comprises at least one groove formed in a collar of the first prosthesis component. In one embodiment, the first and second prosthesis components are plates and the intermediate prosthesis component is a core.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to methods for providing insurance brokerage services for both a property owner and potential insurers. The methods provide for virtual websites and related mobile applications for estimating the value of a property based on current reconstruction costs. 摘要: A cellular MOSFET device has a cellular area (CA) comprising active MOSFET cells, and one or more Schottky diode areas (SA) accommodated within a deep end region (15) at a lateral boundary of this cellular area (CA). This deep end region (150) is laterally divided so as to accommodate the diode area (SA) therein. A diode portion (14d) of the first conductivity type of the drain region (14) extends upwardly through the laterally-divided deep end region (150) that is of the second conductivity type. The Schotty barrier (100) formed with this diode portion (14d) terminates laterally in the laterally-divided portions (150f) of the deep end region (150) which serve as a guard region and field-relief region for the Schottky diode.
