摘要: A method of connecting a user computing device to a wireless network comprises establishing a wireless connection between the user computing device and a first wireless network. The user provides identifying information to a server via the first wireless network. In response to the server authenticating the user and upon successful authorisation of the user having the appropriate rights, the user receives access information for a second wireless network from the server. The user computing device establishes a wireless connection to the second wireless network using the received access information. The method has the advantage that the first wireless network can be easily discoverable, whereas the second wireless network can have an enhanced level of security.

摘要: Apparatus for controlling a track on a tracked vehicle may comprise a drive system, a clutch, a brake, and a track control system to operate the clutch and the brake. A control signal generator operatively associated with the track control system produces control signals that vary at a first rate to cause the track control system to transition the clutch from an engaged state to a disengaged state and produces control signals that vary at a second rate to cause the track control system to transition the brake from an initial application state to a full application state, the second rate being less than the first rate.

摘要: A sheet-like abrasive article includes a resilient backing sheet having opposed major surfaces and a continuous abrasive sheet affixed to the backing sheet. The abrasive sheet includes an abrasive support layer with abrasive particles arranged thereon, thereby defining an abrasive surface. A sanding tool assembly including such a sheet-like abrasive article is also disclosed.

摘要: In a preferred embodiment, the invention provides a circuit and method for a high reliability triple redundant latch with integrated testability. Three settable memory elements set an identical logical value into each settable memory element. After the settable memory elements are set, a voting structure with inputs from the second settable memory element, the third settable memory element and control to the settable memory elements determine the logical value held on the first settable memory element. Data may be scanned into and out of the second settable memory element. Data is propagated through the buffer into the third settable memory element. The third settable memory element may be used to scan data out of the triple redundant latch. The propagation delay through a latch is the only propagation delay of the triple redundant latch.

摘要: A cooker has a pan of circular configuration with an open upper end receiving a circular lid and a bottom having apertures therein. A disk shaped drip tray disposed below the pan and having upstanding lugs thereon is selectively moved between raised and lowered positions using opposite latching mechanisms which adjustably couple the drip tray to the pan. In the raised position, the drip tray engages the bottom of the pan and the lugs on the drip tray extend into and close the apertures in the pan. In the lowered position, the lugs are removed from the apertures, permitting greases, fats and similar substances to drain through the apertures and onto the drip tray. The latching mechanisms permit separation of the drip tray from the pan for separate cleansing thereof such as by placing in a dishwasher. When food cooked in the pan is ready to be served, the pan and attached drip tray are placed within an opening in a circular serving tray which has removable trays positioned about the circumference thereof for holding food items such as toppings for the food cooked in the pan. An electrical heating element embedded within the bottom of the pan provides heat for cooking.

摘要: A process for depositing anti-microbial materials into or onto the surface of a substrate using ionic plasma deposition. The process includes the steps of providing a cathode of target material having anti-microbial potential which is disposed within a partial vacuum, powering the cathode to generate a plasma discharge for ionizing the target material into a plasma of constituent particles. The plasma particles are reacted with ionized gas, and are selected, controlled and directed toward the substrate by electromagnetic fields generated by at least one first anode adjacent to the cathode and at least one second anode positioned adjacent the first anode. Additional anode structures and charged screens provide further control of the plasma constituents. The plasma constituents, comprising the anti-microbial materials, are deposited on the substrate as dispersed ordered structures which form an anti-microbial surface into and onto the substrate.
