摘要: A device associated with a network provides a query for specific network management information (NMI) to a registry, and receives, based on the query, metadata associated with the specific network management information (NMI). The device also provides a request for the specific network management information (NMI) to a plurality of producer devices identified from the metadata associated with the specific network management information (NMI), and receives one or more portions of the specific network management information (NMI) from each of the plurality of producer devices. The device further combines the one or more portions of the specific network management information (NMI) to create the specific network management information (NMI).

摘要: Methods and agent for correlating event notifications are provided wherein the agent comprises an interface receiving an event notification, a Peer Agent Notification Category List (PANCL) storing peer agent notification categories of event notifications that other agents are interested in receiving from the agent, and a notifications processing engine that determines if the event notification matches the peer agent notification categories of the PANCL. Upon positive determination the first event notification is sent at least to a second agent associated with the matched peer agent notification category of the PANCL. In another aspect, the agent comprises a manager notifications log storing identities of event notifications sent from the agent to the manager and a notifications processing engine that determines if a received peer agent event notification matches any event notifications of the log. Upon positive determination, the engine correlates the peer agent event notification with the event notification of the log.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method and an arrangement in a communication system in which a network management architecture comprises modules representing a virtual reality of network nodes (24) and network links under management. Organization of said modules and information contained in said modules are based on a pre-determined network management schema, whereby said network nodes (24) and said network links are managed by accessing and manipulating said modules. The network management schema is modified by reducing the amount of information in said modules. Then, the modified network management schema is used for managing said communication network system and thereby facilitating communication network system management.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention include apparatus and methods for aerosolizing liquid. One embodiment of the invention provides an apparatus for generating an aerosol. The apparatus includes an actuator having a first face and a second face and defining an opening therethrough, as well as a vibratory element in mechanical communication with the actuator, and a sealing member configured to isolate the vibratory element from a surrounding environment. In accordance with certain embodiments, the apparatus further comprises an aerosolization element mounted on the actuator and disposed substantially over the opening, wherein the aerosolization element defines at least one aperture therethrough. Hence, the vibratory element may be operated to vibrate to cause movement of the aerosolization element in such a manner that a liquid at the first face of the aerosolization element can be dispensed as an aerosol through the at least one aperture. Some embodiments feature an electrode coupled to the vibratory element.

摘要: A Service Oriented Architecture [SOA] gateway is provided which exposes existing databases and business logic as basic W3C based web services. The SOA gateway enables databases and business logic on existing platforms to be accessed easily by known technologies. The SOA gateway runs on existing platforms where critical data and business logic resides. This enables direct access to the data and business logic without the need for additional middleware. Such single tier implementations have fewer points of failure and are thus more reliable than alternative methods. The SOA gateway authenticates users who access data and business logic and utilize the users' own a security context on the existing platform.

摘要: An MOV element is physically and electrically connected to a heat sensitive material which changes from a low impedance path to a high impedance path, such as a spark gap, when the temperature of the MOV element rises to a temperature below that at which the MOV will enter into its thermal runaway state. More specifically, the heat sensitive material is located on a surface of the MOV and is electrically connected in series with the MOV. In operation, as the MOV gets hot, it heats the heat sensitive material. As the heat sensitive material gets hot, it starts to separate from the surface of the MOV to form a spark gap which is electrically connected in series with the MOV element to help dissipate excessive voltage. The heat sensitive material on the surface of the MOV element can be a coating of epoxy which cracks and/or breaks away, at least partially from the surface of the MOV element during the occurrence of a high voltage transient surge, or it can be a solder that sputters to form an arc path during the occurrence of a high voltage transient surge. In operation, when a GFCI is subjected to a high voltage transient surge above a certain magnitude, the heat sensitive material forms a spark gap which is in series with the MOV and prevents the GFCI from going into its destructive thermal runaway condition. Thus, prior to the MOV entering its thermal runaway state, it goes from being only an MOV to an MOV in series with a spark gap which can be used to protect an up stream GFCI during the occurrence of a high voltage transient surge.
