摘要: A lighting panel system includes a lighting panel having a string of solid state lighting devices and a current supply circuit having a voltage input terminal, a control input terminal, and first and second output terminals coupled to the string of solid state lighting devices. The current supply circuit is configured to supply an on-state drive current to the string of solid state lighting devices in response to a control signal. The current supply circuit includes a charging inductor coupled to the voltage input terminal and an output capacitor coupled to the first output terminal. The current supply circuit is configured to operate in continuous conduction mode in which current continuously flows through the charging inductor while the on-state drive current is supplied to the string of solid state light emitting devices.

摘要: A lighting panel system includes a lighting panel including a first string of solid state lighting devices configured to emit light at a first wavelength and a second string of solid state lighting devices configured to emit light at a second wavelength, different from the first wavelength, and a current supply circuit configured to supply a drive current to the first string in response to a control signal. A photosensor is arranged to receive light emitted by the panel, and a control system is configured to sample an output signal of the photosensor and adjust the control signal responsive thereto to thereby adjust an average current supplied to the first string by the current supply circuit. Methods of operating a lighting panel are also provided.

摘要: Methods of calibrating a lighting panel including a plurality of segments, each of said segments configured to emit a first color light and a second color light in response to pulse width modulation control signals having respective duty cycles include determining an average segment luminance for the lighting panel, determining a luminance variation of each segment to the average segment luminance, comparing the luminance variation of each segment to a threshold, and adjusting the duty cycle of at least one color of at least one segment to reduce the luminance variation in response to the luminance variation of a segment exceeding the threshold. Calibration systems are also disclosed.

摘要: An image sensing system for a vehicle includes an imaging sensor comprising a two-dimensional array of light sensing photosensor elements. The system includes a logic and control circuit comprising an image processor for processing image data derived from the imaging sensor. The logic and control circuit generates at least one control output for controlling at least one accessory of the vehicle. The imaging sensor is disposed at an interior portion of the cabin of the vehicle and preferably has a field of view exterior of the vehicle through a window of the vehicle.

摘要: A vehicle headlamp control method and apparatus includes providing an imaging sensor that senses light in spatially separated regions of a field of view forward of the vehicle. Light levels sensed in individual regions of the field of view are evaluated in order to identify light sources of interest, such as oncoming headlights and leading taillights. The vehicle's headlights are controlled in response to identifying such particular light sources or absence of such light sources. Spectral signatures of light sources may be examined in order to determine if the spectral signature matches that of particular light sources such as the spectral signatures of headlights or taillights. Sensed light levels may also be evaluated for their spatial distribution in order to identify light sources of interest.

The logic and control circuit generates at least one control output for controlling at least one light of the vehicle. The imaging sensor is disposed at an interior portion of the vehicle proximate the windshield of the vehicle and has a forward field of view to the exterior of the vehicle through an area of the windshield. The at least one control output preferably controls at least one of (i) a beam state of a headlight; (ii) a beam aim of a headlight; (iii) a beam pattern of a headlight and (iv) a beam intensity of a headlight.

The image array sensor includes an array of pixel sensors, and is configured and mounted such that a field of view of the image array sensor substantially passes through an associated windshield area that is wiped by a windshield wiper. The controller is connected to the image array sensor and configured to receive at least a portion of at least one image from the image array sensor that is substantially free of windshield surface contamination.

The imaging sensor comprises a two-dimensional array of light sensing photosensor elements formed on a semiconductor substrate and is disposed at an interior portion of the vehicle proximate the windshield of the vehicle and has a forward field of view to the exterior of the vehicle through an area of the windshield. The logic and control circuit comprises an image processor for processing image data derived from the imaging sensor. The logic and control circuit generates at least one control output. The image sensing system detects lane markers on a road being traveled by the vehicle and present in the field of view of the imaging sensor.

摘要: An image sensing system for a vehicle includes an imaging sensor and a logic and control circuit. The imaging sensor comprises a two-dimensional array of light sensing photosensor elements formed on a semiconductor substrate, and has a field of view exterior of the vehicle. The logic and control circuit comprises an image processor for processing image data derived from the imaging sensor. The image sensing system may generate an indication of the presence of an object within the field of view of the imaging sensor. Preferably, video images may be captured by said imaging sensor and may be displayed by a display device for viewing by the driver when operating the vehicle. The logic and control circuit may generate at least one control output, and the at least control output may control an enhancement of the video images.

The first image capture device has a first field of view having a first field of view portion at least partially overlapping a field of view portion of a second field of view of the second image capture device. A control receives a first image input from the first image capture sensor and a second image input from the second image capture sensor and generates a composite image synthesized from the first image input and the second image input. A display system displays the composite image.
