    摘要： A novel migratory insertion reaction is disclosed utilizing organoaluminum compounds. An intramolecular transfer of a carbon group from the aluminum complex E-1-halo-1-alkenyl)trialkylalanate occurs to produce an E-alkenyl(alkoxy)dialkylalanate or an E-dialkylalkenylalane or an (E,E)-3-alkyl-2-dialkylalumino-1,3-diene depending on process conditions. Novel organic aluminates are also disclosed.

    摘要： An adapter for receiving a vessel of one size and configured for retaining placement of the one size vessel in a receptacle cavity dimensioned to hold a different size vessel. The adapter comprises a pair of similarly configured segments each having a flat lower portion of a width sized for placement transversely within the receptacle cavity integral with and depending below an upper portion having a plurality of upwardly extending arms separated a distance as accommodates placement of the one size vessel between the arms. The respective adapter segments each have similarly dimensioned slots midway of and extending longitudinally approximately one-half the height of the flat lower portion, the slot in one adapter segment of the pair extending upwardly from the bottom edge of the one segment and the slot in the other adapter segment of the pair extending downwardly from the top edge of the other segment. The adapter segments form a unitary adapter device with the respective adapter segments in nesting engagement transversely of each other upon arranging the respective segments such that the slots of each segment of the pair closely straddles approximately one-half of the lower portion of the other of the pair of segments.

    摘要： The subject invention relates to compounds having the structure: ##STR1## wherein (a) X is selected from hydroxy, C.sub.1 to about C.sub.2 alkanoxy, thiol, C.sub.1 to about C.sub.2 alkanylthiol, and halo;(b) R and R' are each independently selected from C.sub.1 to about C.sub.3 straight or branched alkanyl, and C.sub.3 to about C.sub.4 cyclic alkanyl; or R and R' are bonded together to form a C.sub.3 to about C.sub.6 cyclic alkanyl ring, or a C.sub.3 to about C.sub.5 cyclic heteroalkanyl ring having one oxygen or sulfur atom in the ring, the heteroatom not being bonded to the carbon to which X is bonded; and R and R', or the ring formed by them when bonded together, are each, independently, unsubstituted or monosubstituted with a substituent selected from halo, hydroxy, thiol, C.sub.1 to about C.sub.2 alkanoxy, and C.sub.1 to about C.sub.2 alkanylthiol.The subject invention also relates to the pharmaceutical compositions comprising the above compounds, and methods of treating inflammation using the compounds.

    摘要： Convenience fishing rod attachments enable a fisherman to leave multiple fishing rods unattended without concern that the rods may be pulled into the water by fish strikes, and subsequently lost or damaged. The attachments permit such unattended use of a fishing rod in a boat or on a bank or shore of a body of water. One of the attachments provides a system by which a hook is automatically set in the mouth tissue of a striking fish.
