    摘要： An electrolysis water purification system employs a fixed magnitude ionization current source the output of which is effectively pulse-width modulated, by controlled switching of the connection of the current source to the ionizing electrodes. As a consequence, ion production can be controlled as a percentage of water flow time (the period during which the filtration pump is operating) and is evenly distributed throughout the water to be purified. The output of a DC power supply is coupled through a controlled switching circuit to the ionizing electrodes. The controlled switching circuit includes a presettable timer-controlled switch that operates under the control of clock generator and establishes the duty cycle of the supply of ionizing current to the electrodes. The output of the presettable timer-controlled switch is coupled through a timer-controlled polarity reversing circuit to the ionizing electrodes. The polarity reversing circuit serves to periodically reverse the current flow through the ionizing electrodes to ensure uniform wear of the electrodes and automatic cleaning of the deposits off the electrodes.

    摘要： The food product machine with a food supply, a rotary food pump connected to the food supply, a molding mechanism having a mold plate and a knockout drive, and a mold plate reciprocating between a fill and a discharge position. The knockout drive reciprocates a knockout plunger to discharge molded food products from the mold plate the mold plate being reciprocated between a cavity fill position and a cavity discharge position. The machine includes a manifold connected an outlet of the food pump and having an outlet passageway connected to an inlet of the molding mechanism for filling the cavity of the mold plate. The machine can further include a fill plunger system for increasing the till pressure of the food mass prior to filling the mold cavities. Plungers extend into the manifold to displace food mass volume and increase the pressure in the manifold.

    摘要： Recombinant microorganisms are useful for producing xylitol by fermentation of arabinose. The recombinant microorganisms are produced by transformation of host microorganisms with heterologous polynucleotide sequences coding for each of L-xylulose reductase, D-tagatose 3-epimerase, and L-arabinose isomerase, which transformants express the heterologous polynucleotides at a sufficient functional level to be effective to produce xylitol from arabinose. Production of xylitol is effected by contacting these recombinant microorganisms with a substrate comprising arabinose under conditions effective to produce xylitol from arabinose.

One or more shifting mechanisms shift the food product from the second lane into the first lane. The first and second lanes move together along a conveyor moving direction and each shifting mechanism is located downstream in a conveyor moving direction from the onload position.
