Abstract:
A dispenser including a medium reservoir, a discharge opening, and a feeding device for feeding medium from the medium reservoir to the discharge opening, wherein an actuating handle is displaceable relative to the medium reservoir in an actuation direction to discharge medium. The dispenser includes a protective device with two partial shells interconnected in a protective condition by a coupling device for repeated decoupling and coupling wherein the protective device is attachable to the feeding device in a protective position such that in the protective condition the accessibility and/or maneuverability of the actuating handle is prevented, and upon releasing the coupling device an enable condition of the protective device is achievable in which the partial shells are displaceable relative to another so that the protective device is removable from the feeding device, and thus accessibility or maneuverability of the actuating handle is obtainable thereby.
Abstract:
A discharge device for discharging pharmaceutical liquids, with a housing, a liquid reservoir with a receiving space for storing the pharmaceutical liquid, and a discharge opening which is provided on the housing and which connects the receiving space to an environment and serves to dispense the pharmaceutical liquid. A pretensioned spring mechanism is provided, by means of which liquid in the receiving space of the liquid reservoir is subjected to pressure and which, in the assembled state of the discharge device, is not accessible for input of energy.
Abstract:
A dosing device with a manually actuated pumping component, which includes a pumping chamber, an inlet valve and an outlet valve in the region of a dosing opening, is provided. An inlet region in the region of the inlet valve and/or an outlet region in the region of the outlet valve is/are provided with flow profiles. The dosing device is to be used for dispensing pharmaceutical liquids.
Abstract:
A discharging device for pharmaceutical liquids having an actuator for carrying out a discharging operation of a pharmaceutical liquid. A first subordinate unit of the actuator has a discharge orifice, and a second subordinate unit is displaceable relative to the first subordinate unit for carrying out the discharging operation. The two subordinate units together delimit a buffer chamber from which a liquid passageway leads to the discharge orifice. A liquid-containing bag is accommodated in the buffer chamber and has film-like walls. The actuator and the bag are coordinated such that displacement of the subordinate units of the actuator relative to each other causes opening of the bag and reduction in the volume of the buffer chamber with consequent volume reduction of the liquid-containing bag and discharge of liquid through the discharge orifice.
Abstract:
An inhalation device for discharging a pulverulent medium includes a media store that is provided for holding the medium and an outlet channel with an inner wall that is substantially cylindrical at least in a subsection, the outlet channel being designed as a transport path for the medium from the media store into a respiration path opening of a user, and there being provided in the substantially cylindrical subsection of the outlet channel an exit control arrangement that is designed as a baffle and/or exit direction sensor.
Abstract:
According to the invention a dispenser for discharging media, particularly liquids, foams and pastes is proposed and whose dispenser casing is secured against dismantling. This is implemented by means of a securing section (16b, 144), which is engaged on the pump casing separately from a functional section (20, 116) axially displaceable in operation on the dispenser casing and which is connected by positive or frictional engagement with the functional section (20, 116) and in the joined state limits a first locking profiling (22, 122) provided on the functional section (20, 116) with regards to its elastic resilience, so that a second locking profiling (26, 126) provided on the pump casing and corresponding with the locking profiling (22, 122) of the functional section (20, 116) can no longer be overcome for dismantling purposes. The invention also relates to a method for the assembly of disassembly-secured dispensers, in which an auxiliary section and an applicator are successively engaged on a pump casing, are joined together in the engaged state and in the engaged state are secured against dismantling.
Abstract:
In a dispenser, particularly an atomizer, which is used for flowable substances, particularly pharmaceuticals, use is made of a pump, which must be actuated one or more times for priming purposes. Its discharge nozzle (14) is covered by a protective cap (38), which is suitable to collect and store the medium, which is discharged during the priming strokes and before the start of the useful strokes. During the priming strokes the protective cap (38) is secured on the dispenser (11). This is brought about in that a locking (40) for the protective cap is only released when the priming strokes have been performed. This can take place by electrical actuation or by material change under the influence of the medium to be discharged. According to a variant the protective cap is not itself locked, but an actuation locking takes place if the protective cap has not been fitted for the priming strokes.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus for the atomized discharge of a liquid medium. The apparatus can be operated with one hand for the discharge of a liquid medium in partial strokes that are successively performed and not unintentionally interrupted. The apparatus has an operating trigger to engage the ram, which operates the piston that is displaceable in the spray cylinder, the operating path of the operating trigger being so limited between an operating starting position and end position that the resulting discharge stroke of the piston may vary for successive partial discharges of the stored medium.
Abstract:
Discharging unit for discharging pharmaceutical media from a medium storage receptacle, including a first discharge orifice, a pump, an inlet duct connecting the medium storage receptacle to the pump, and an outlet duct for connecting the pump to the first discharge orifice. The first discharge orifice is part of a first subordinate device of the discharging unit and the pump, a portion of the outlet duct, and an outlet valve provided in the outlet duct are part of a second subordinate device of the discharging unit. The first subordinate device is capable, without the use of tools, of being coupled to, and decoupled from, the second subordinate device, and an internal volume of a portion of the outlet duct extending from the outlet valve to the first discharge orifice is less than 15 μl.
Abstract:
A dispensing device for liquid media having a housing, a medium reservoir, an outlet opening for dispensing the medium and an inlet opening for intake of air for the purpose of volume equalization in the medium reservoir, wherein a cap is provided that is fittable onto the housing and protects the outlet opening when in the fitted state. The cap closes the inlet opening in gas-tight manner from an environment on the one hand and from the outlet opening on the other hand.
