    摘要： An automotive AC dynamo-electric machine is capable of providing a sufficient rotational output for starting an engine by running a rotor at high speed in a motor operation mode for starting the engine, thus obviating the need for increasing a size thereof. In the motor operation mode, an electromagnetic clutch follower connects to an electromagnetic clutch main body and also engages a cylindrical member to brake the cylindrical member. An internal gear portion provides a fixed element, and torque of a rotor is transmitted to a power transmission device via a rotor shaft, a sun gear, a planetary gear, and a carrier.

    摘要： A low-cost permanent magnet dynamo-electric machine which can prevent an occurrence of a chip in a permanent magnet and is superior in the ease of fabricating the machine. This machine has an elastic catching member consisting of a ring-like portion and a plurality of protruding pieces axially projected from this ring-like portion. This machine further has a yoke, onto the inner circumferential surface of which a plurality of auxiliary poles are welded at an isotropic angular pitch. Further, in this machine, each of permanent magnets has a side surface brought into abutting engagement with the corresponding auxiliary pole. Moreover, the protruding pieces of the elastic catching member are forced into a space between the other side surface of each of the permanent magnets and the adjoining auxiliary pole, so that the plurality of the permanent magnets surround an armature. Furthermore, the ring-like portion of the elastic catching member is put into abutting engagement with a rear end face of each of the permanent magnets.

A flange portion 20 that is integrally formed with an output shaft rotation axis 11 is provided on its rear side a ring of support pins 21 having an open-ended cylinder shape and circumferentially equally spaced in a circle. A plate 22 has on its front side of the flange portion 22a a ring of projections 22b circumferentially equally spaced, and the projections 22b are engaged with the support pins 21. With planetary gears 7 attached onto the support pins 21, the plate 22 is mounted by press-fit inserting the projections 22b into the openings of the support pins 21.

    摘要： A starter pinion shifting arrangement comprising a solenoid switch having a hook which can be pulled by a plunger which can be electromagnetically actuated through a compression spring, and a shift lever connected between the hook and a sliding thrust and a pinion movement unit slidably mounted on a support shaft and including a pinion engageable with a driven gear. A clearance is provided through which the hook can be pulled by the plunger when the hook is in a stopped position when the pinion is in a stopper abutting position in which the pinion moved by the attraction toward a stationary core of the plunger is in engagement with the driven gear. An elastic member, which is flexed through said shift lever by the compression force of the compression spring when it is flexed as the pinion movement unit is in the stopper abutting position in which the pinion is in engagement with the driven gear, may be disposed in an engagement portion between the shift lever and the pinion movement unit. The compression spring may comprise two parallel mounted springs, the two compression springs act to urge the pinion to the driven gear when the pinion is in abutment with the driven gear, and only one of the two compression springs acts when the pinion is in the stopper abutting position in which the pinion is in engagement with the driven gear.

    摘要： A variable-discharge high pressure pump capable of facilitating the manufacturing and providing sufficient lubrication. The pump comprises a cam shaft provided with a cam surface by which a tappet displaces in accordance with the cam surface, a plunger connected to the tappet to reciprocate in accordance with the reciprocation of the tappet and accommodated in a cylindrical cylinder. Also included are a cylinder head having a contact surface brought into contact with one end surface of the cylinder. The cylinder head has a small-diameter recess portion made in the contact surface to be coupled to the cylinder and constitutes a pump chamber in conjunction with a head portion of the plunger. Further, the cylinder head holds a fuel introduction device for introducing external fuel into a fuel supply passage communicating with the pump chamber, a solenoid valve for opening and closing the fuel supply passage in accordance with an energization state thereto, and a fuel discharging device for discharging fuel compressed in the pump chamber. The cylinder is placed through a fixing device into contact with the cylinder head.
