摘要: A method is provided for preparing an estimate for sheet metal working. Data of bending lines and data of an associated processing time for the bending lines is stored. Data of holes and data of an associated processing time for the holes is stored. A three-dimensional view and a development drawing which realizes the three-dimensional view are prepared based on an orthographic drawing. A bending line and a hole on a product are detected based on at least one of data of the three-dimensional view and data of the development drawing. A processing time of the specified bending line is calculated based on the associated data of the bending lines. A processing time of the specified hole on the product is calculated based on the associated data of the holes. The processing time of the bending line and the processing time of the hole are stored in a processing time memory. A total processing time necessary to process the product is calculated by adding up the processing times stored in the processing time memory. The total processing time is converted to a cost of processing the product in consideration of a cost per processing time.

摘要: The present invention is to provide an optical module in which factors influencing the optical coupling between the semiconductor optical device and the optical fiber may be reduced. The optical module of the present invention includes a ferrule having first and second regions arranged in this order, and an optical fiber secured in the center of the ferrule. The second region of the ferrule provides an end surface of the ferrule, where the tip of the core is exposed thereto, and a mounting surface where the semiconductor optical device is mounted thereon to optically couple with the core of the optical fiber.

摘要: A single-substrate-heat-processing apparatus includes an airtight process chamber, the interior of which is partitioned into a process space and a lower space by a mount plate and a shield frame. Heating lamps are disposed at a position outside the process chamber and below the mount plate. The mount plate is supported by a shield frame via an isolator, which has a thermal conductivity lower than that of the mount plate. The isolator is formed of a lower member and an upper member. The upper member has outer and inner cover portions, which cover the inner edge of the shield frame and the outer edge of the mount plate, respectively, in a non-contacting state.

摘要: A method for fastening an input shaft and a torsion bar together in a power steering mechanism, and the associated torsion bar. A ball-receiving hole is bored in the end of the torsion bar. The end of the torsion bar is inserted into a bore in the input shaft and a ball is pressed into the hole to provide an interference fit between the shaft and the bar. Subsequently, the peripheral edge of the hole in the torsion bar is elliptically deformed so as to retain the ball in the hole and the bar in the shaft. Since a portion of the opening is slightly diametrically broadened by the ball, the periphery of the portion closely contacts the inner wall of the input shaft, thereby strengthening the connection between the torsion bar and the input shaft.

摘要: In a watt-hour meter in which first and second input signals representing an analog electric current and an analog voltage of an alternating current are converted into first and second digital signals, a first adder produces a sum signal which represents a sum of the first input signal and an additional analog signal of a frequency different from that of the first input signal and which is substituted for the first input signal. The meter may further comprise a second adder which adds another additional analog signal to the second input signal. Alternatively, the meter comprises low-pass filters and oversample-and-convert circuits to produce the first and the second input digital signals. As a further alternative, the meter comprises a first inverter for inverting a selected one of the first and the second input signals into a first inverted signal. In this event, a first selector alternatingly selects one of the first inverted signal and the selected one of the first and the second input signals and the other of the first inverted signal and the selected one of the first and the second input signals at a predetermined time interval as a first selected signal. A second inverter for inverting a product signal representing a product of the first and the second digital signals into a second inverted signal. Ganged with the first selector, a second selector alternatingly selects one of the second inverted signal and the product signal at the predetermined time interval as a second selected signal so that the second inverted signal is selected when the first selector selects the first inverted signal.
