A rubber composition is disclosed, comprising (a) 100 parts by weight of a synthetic rubber and (b) from 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of an alkylene oxide adduct of a saponified ethylene-saturated carboxylic acid vinyl ester copolymer. The rubbber composition can provide a vulcanized rubber composition which can retain its excellent appearance over a prolonged period of time because of freedom from blooming, has excellent antistatic performance due to its electrical conductivity, can be colored in various tints including white, and also has excellent properties in terms of tensile strength and specific gravity.

The present invention provides a composite molded article and a method for producing the same. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for producing an olefin thermoplastic elastomer composition which, through dynamic crosslinking of an olefin resin and an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer rubber as polymer components, has excellent appearance of the extrusion molding while also having excellent physical properties such as compression set, oil resistance and tensile strength. The present invention is directed to a method for producing a thermoplastic elastomer composition having the steps of: dynamically heat treating the following components (A) to (D); adding a component (E) to a resulting composition; and kneading a resulting mixture, (A): an ethylene-α-olefin-based copolymer rubber; (B): a polyolefin resin; (C): a halogenated alkylphenolic resin-based crosslinking agent; (D): zinc oxide; and (E): a halogen capturing agent.
