摘要:
Assignment of point level address geocodes to street networks include the steps of entering address data and collecting candidate point data records and segment data record matches for the entered address. Each point data record includes address elements and also includes a geocode. Each segment data record includes a centerline between segment record data points. A determination is made if there is at least one point data record match for the input address. The best point record match for the input address is selected when at least one point data record match is made. The address elements from the point record are compared to any collected segment data records. A determination is made of the best segment record match to the selected best point record and the best segment record match is selected. The selected best segment record is employed and the bearing and distance from the selected best point record is calculated to a point on the centerline of the selected best segment record to determine a geocode for the centerline point.

A reverse geocoding system and method processes a point level dataset and a street segment dataset to determine an address for a particular latitude and longitude of an input point entered into the system. A determination is made if the point level dataset contains a point level data address match to the entered latitude and longitude data within the closest street segment and without crossing the street segment. Any such point level data address match is output. When no such point level data address match is made, the system computes an interpolated address from a range of addresses of the closest street segment in the street segment dataset based on the entered latitude and longitude of the input point in relation to said range of addresses for the closest street segment. The interpolated address from the closest street segment in the street segment dataset is output.

An apparatus is provided for making ophthalmic lenses by vacuum lamination wherein a front lens wafer is laminated to a back lens wafer with a layer of adhesive disposed within the interface between the two wafers forming a composite lens. An upper flexible, transparent sheet is located on the top side of the composite lens, a lower flexible, opaque or transparent sheet is located on the bottom side of the composite lens, and a seam is formed between the upper and lower flexible sheets which defines an evacuation chamber between the sheets for receiving the composite lens. A vacuum pump is connected in fluid communication with the evacuation chamber for evacuating air from the chamber and in turn drawing the upper and lower flexible sheets into engagement with the top and bottom sides of the composite lens, respectively, to press the lens wafers together and spread the adhesive throughout the wafer interface. A UV lamp is mounted above the composite lens for transmitting UV radiation through the upper flexible sheet and into the adhesive layer to cure the adhesive and form the composite lens.

A system automatically weeds around graphics cut into a sheet of sign material having a backing and utilizes a tool moved relative to the sign material sheet along a path offset from the lines of cut defining the graphic in response to commands issued by a controller to selectively bond an overlay sheet to the weed portions of the sign material sheet. The overlay sheet is placed over the sign material sheet and is selectively bonded with portions of the cut sign material sheet for subsequent separation of the nongraphic or weed material from the cut graphic when the overlay sheet is pulled away from the backing.

A laminated web is used for supplying characters, symbols or other shapes, which are cut from a layer of sign material comprising one of the layers of the web, subsequently adhesively attached to a supporting surface to create a sign. In the web the layer of sign material is superimposed on a layer of paper or similar material with an intervening layer of pressure sensitive or permanently tacky adhesive. A layer of dry adhesive is carried by the otherwise exposed face of the layer of sign material and is activatable into a tacky condition for adhesively attaching the underlying portions of the layer of sign material to a supporting surface. The arrangement of the layers, the types of adhesives and the bonding strengths of the adhesives to their adherent surfaces allow the shapes cut from the layer of sign material to be transferred to and adhesively attached to a supporting surface, after cutting, by a simple and easy process. If a number of shapes are cut at one time the construction of the web and the related process of transferral to the supporting surface assures that the shapes after the attachment to the supporting surface will have the same spacing, alignment and other arrangement relative to one another as in the cut web.
