    摘要: In a printing apparatus in which a part of the execution program is downloaded from the host computer, the invention allows the user to easily known the copyright information of the execution program and to select the use of such copyright. The host computer sends print data to the laser beam printer constituting the printing apparatus and downloads a part of the execution program. At the same time, the copyright information and the license information of the execution program are transmitted to the laser beam printer. The control unit of the laser beam printer processes the data based on the execution program, thereby recording the data on the recording sheet, and displays the copyright information and license information on the operation panel. Observing the display, the user selects whether or not to obtain the license by the operation panel.

    摘要: The present invention provides a wiring board wherein the resistance difference between multiple connection lines is reduced. The wiring board of the present invention comprises: a control region and a peripheral region. The control region includes multiple gate lines extending in a row direction and multiple source lines extending in a column direction. The peripheral region includes a gate driver connected with the gate lines; a source driver connected with the source lines; and multiple connection lines which extend around the control region and which connect the gate driver with the gate lines. Each of the connection lines includes a gate metal portion formed from a material of the gate lines and a source metal portion formed from a material of the source lines. An insulating layer is disposed between the gate metal portion and the source metal portion. The gate metal portion and the source metal portion are connected with each other via a contact portion which penetrates the insulating layer.

    摘要: A columnar spacer is interposed between a first substrate and a second substrate for holding a liquid crystal layer between them. The columnar spacer is formed in such a manner as to have an area superposed, in each pixel, with the contact hole formed in the first substrate and an area not superposed with said contact hole. Even in the case where the first and second substrates attached to each other are displaced from each other, the columnar spacer never falls in the contact hole and a desired cell gap can be positively secured. Also, since the columnar spacer is not located in the contact hole, no margin for substrate attachment is required to form the contact hole in the first substrate, thereby improving the open area ratio effective for display for improved display quality.
