摘要: Disclosed is a method for preparation of a glass forming mold having a layer of a lubricating mold-releasing agent with reduced fluctuation in lubricating property, by baking the layer of the lubricating mold-releasing agent in a manner that prevents defects like blistering or peeling of the layer, or surface roughening. The method is a method for preparation of a glass forming mold having a baked layer of a lubricating mold-releasing agent on the mold surface thereof, wherein the method comprises heating the mold surface with an applied lubricating mold-releasing agent thereon by exposing the mold surface to a high frequency magnetic flux until the temperature of the mold surface reaches a predetermined baking temperature.

摘要: A multi-cylinder engine wherein a direction in which a crank shaft spans is a front and rear direction and a widthwise direction of a cylinder head (1) perpendicular to the front and rear direction is a lateral direction, the multi-cylinder engine comprising the cylinder head (1) which has one lateral side to which an intake-air distributing passage wall (2) and has the other lateral side to which an exhaust-gas converging passage wall (3), a common rail (10) being arranged around the cylinder head (1). In this multi-cylinder engine, the common rail (10) is arranged immediately lateral of the intake-air distributing passage wall (2), thereby positioning the intake-air distributing passage wall (2) between the cylinder head (1) and the common rail (10). Preferably, an intake-air inlet pipe (11) is made to stand up at an upper portion of the intake-air distributing passage wall (2) and is provided with an intake-air flange portion (12), which is positioned just above the common rail (10).

摘要: In an apparatus for optically reading a graphic symbol composed of a plurality of optically identifiable unit sections of information, a first image pickup unit has a first photodetector and picks up a first optical image of the graphic symbol based on light detected by the first photodetector. A second image pickup unit has a second photodetector and configured to pick up a second optical image of the graphic symbol based on light detected by the second photodetector. A correcting unit corrects a light intensity level of at least one section of one of the first and second optical images based on a light intensity level of at least one section of the other of the first and second optical images. The at least one section corresponds to at least one of the unit sections of information of the graphic symbol.

摘要: An information reader has blocks of bright field illuminating units illuminating an information code directly marked on an object with first lights to regularly reflect the lights on the code, blocks of dark field illuminating units illuminating the code with second lights to irregularly reflect the lights on the code, an optical system, and a control section lighting the blocks of bright and dark field illuminating units by turns or simultaneously. The optical system forms an image of the code from each of the first and second lights or a combination of the first and second lights reflected on the code and reads the code from the images. The first lights are transmitted along an optical axis of the optical system. The second lights are transmitted toward the optical axis while slightly shifted toward the code.
